it’s not surprising that leva didn’t like andy when she was first taken in by the order. in her mind, if she were to look to anyone there, it was kylo – she owed him, she was loyal to him. not andy, all she needed to do was tolerate him as he helped train her.
the arrogance in his voice, warranted or not, when he spoke to her pissed her off her more than leva wanted to let on, but he knew. it only made her want to improve on her skills faster just to see the look on his face when she could finally manage to best him for the first time.
it was gradual, but there came a turning point where andy’s presence started to become something she almost welcomed, like it was a relief it was him who was around her over almost anyone else. a point where idle comments became talk of revealing bits of their pasts with one another. they had more in common than she would have anticipated, and he was more than the arrogant bastard she first made him out to be.
through her overly cautious nature when it came to those types of feelings she was learning andy was someone she could place her trust in, if she let herself – just as he was doing to her, and that was something that meant more to her than he probably realized at first.
