what did you think of n when you first met him vs. when you actually got to him? did your opinion change over time?

"I thought he was weird. Like, super weird. Black and I wondered if he was kinda crazy, the way he claimed to talk to pokemon." Not that they'd thought so for long. He'd proven that quick enough.

"But after a week or two of traveling with him, it was kind of obvious he was talking to our pokemon. Then he was just cool." They might have taken a little bit of advantage of it, looking back. The amount of times one of them demanded he translate something for them without asking if he was okay with it, or even wanted to was a bit cringe worthy, in hindsight.

"I'm glad he put up with us for as long as he did, honestly. We were kind of rude to him, thinking about it. He would have been in the right if he'd told us to leave him alone more often."

A thoughtful hum. "I don't think I ever actually got to understand him until the end of it all, at the League when we battled. And then after that, when I came back from the Dream World, that's when we got to know each other better. He's a good person."

i asked somebody else this but i'm curious how you will answer. do you have a type you really like outside of dragons, lance?

Stares at his old plans of genocide to protect every pokemon species known to man and some that are probably not.

what does a normal day for the champion iris look like?

"Wrong answer, buddy."

"Wake up, six am. Feed the Lizards, and the non-Lizards. Feed self. Gym. Home-" She pauses to take a swig of "coffee" "-Regain will to exist, make self presentable, and eat. To League, do work until ten pm. Take breaks to feed the creatures. Gym. Home. Feed self, and the creatures. Do work until two am or thereabouts."

"And that's off season, so no big stadium battles, just the mundane stuff, like people getting into places they shouldn't be, and that one kid who did some hand sign stuff and flipped a train car."

hello lance. i was wondering do you have a favorite dragon or even a top five?

"Gyrados. Anyone who says it's not a dragon is incorrect and deserves to be thrown into the ocean."

"But all dragons are my favorite dragon, Gyrados is just my favorite this week." Cheesecurd did a somersault on a surfboard earlier, so he gets favorite privileges until someone else does a cool trick.

"Anything difficult to handle, my guy. Fairy, Psychic, Dark- I'm actually building a Dragon/Fairy team at the moment."

"Whichever one I last saw."

you didn't answer my question, iris. do you have a romantic interest in anybody? somebody special you're interested in?

"I-eh.... Okaaaay."

Okay, well. That was a bust. Iris deflates a little, a little flush coming to her face.

"I really like Bel. I spent so much time with her, and she's so sweet... but I dunno. She prolly only sees me as like. A sister or something. And um. I really like Hikari, too. We got along super well when we met. We spent such a small amount of time together though... I'm sure she probably forgot about me. Even if I still think about her a lot. Um... I think. I think that's all."
