Takashi "Mori" Morinozuka: The Wild Type
Lol how do you even define the "Wild Type". This one was a little tricky considering Mori almost never talks. However that's not to say that I didn't type him. (For the record, the twins were actually the hardest to type...) Anyway so he's an ISFP!
ISFP's tend to be described as artistic and some of the more intuitive sensers. Some ISFP's are often mistyped for INFJ's. However you know that they're ISFP's cuz they tend to show a LOT LESS facial expressions and tend to be driven by personal feeling and not by the feelings of others. Also they are waaaaaaay better at noticing surroundings. Mori seems very introverted. He almost seems at complete peace when he is alone. The rest of this stuff I can explain with the functions so...let's just get to that...
Fi: Introverted feeling is Mori's dominate function. This function deals with an awareness with one's own feelings. The great thing about being an introverted feeler is that you can take control of the emotions you express and you can choose how the world sees you better than an extroverted feeler. Mori is that character that barely ever show any outward emotions. He keeps his emotions purely to himself. A good example of this was the episode "Honey's Three Bitter Days". After Honey had told Mori he hates him, the only way to tell that Mori was upset was that he lost his balance a bit. Another trait of Fi was expressed in this episode was when we discovered that he got Honey upset with him on purpose as a form of punishment. Someone with Fe would not attempt this out of fear of severely hurting the other persons feelings. However, Mori's Fi takes over and his emotions tell him to punish himself as a sort of noble act of discipline. Mori's dedication to Honey is very much so a personal loyalty. However, at the same time his emotions are purely his own emotions and this is what makes him appear so stoic.
Se: Extroverted sensing. The function of outward awareness in the here and now. Some who has Se is very aware of there surroundings and what is going on in the moment. Mori, like Honey, trains in martial arts. Mori ALWAYS uses Se! Se is very important to martial arts but martial arts is not the only thing Mori uses Se for. No that's just the best example in my opinion. It's kinda stupid to say someone has Se just because they do martial arts. No Mori is always ready for action whenever it is need. Just watching his movements in the show he never shows any hesitation. He just does. The presences is Mori's sanctuary. The next two function are vey important as they are for anybody. But they're less dominant, these Host Club Typing's take a while to write and it's reeeeaaallly hard to find examples of functions for a character that hardly talks. Mori is kind of that type of person that you just have to watch and then you can type him. So blah blah blah....the rest will be shorter....
Ni: Introverted intuition. Have I ever told you guys this is my favorite function? Kay I'll shut up now ;). It's that future predicting function again. Mori often uses this function in silence so you won't hear much of it. But he often predicts future outcomes such as if he doesn't get on Honey's back about eating candy (when Honey got a cavity because he forgot to tell Honey to brush his teeth once), he will ruin his teeth permanently.
Te: This is extroverted thinking. This function is normally the most noticeable when someone is talking so examples for this are going to such more than the rest of this typing...Te however tends to sound very logical and straight forward. Mori tends to sound like this with his quick "Yah"'. Soooo....yaaaaahhhhh....
Sorry this typing is not as good as the other's. It's not that Mori is hard to type, it's just very hard to come up with examples for a character that doesn't really talk. So is Mori the Wild Type. Considering he's so quite and stoic that I can barely think of examples for his functions for him, yes, yes he is. ISFP's are the Wild Type.
