Happy bh6 series anniversary!

I’m gonna react to some more eps from the series JP dub to celebrate 

well maybe just one

which is Issue 188! n.n

-I am so nervous abt how my favs will sound--

-KARMI SOUNDS SO CUTE AAAAA

-She’s so adorable!

-I can’t take her srsly even when’s she like “ew don’t talk to me” bc she sounds so cute XD

-still sounds get even when she’s angy

-I have to say, the VA is doing a rly good voicing Karmi as a “teen with like 0 social experiences with her fellow peers” and it shows

-the gang have like this visible “muffle” to their voices while wearing helms I’ve noticed

-I am so close to “We got Dance Power” my hands are shaking in anticipation

-Like there was still the 80s theme but in JP and omg HV sound p’ similar, like different voices but same energy, y’know?

-I want to learn the song in JP now bc it sounded so cool in JP

-Juni sounds so cute in the dub even when she’s angy omg I love herrrr

-The “aaah” from Gogo when she gets yeeted sounds more like an “AAAAAH” rip

-omg the music, same energy still but like... fancy? idk how to word it but this is making me love HV even more

-they added an “aaaaaa” from Hiro when Baymax flies away like “aaaa come back buddy” XD

-*laughs* oh my god poor bh6 I forgot how new they were to superheroing at this point riiiip

-did I mention Juni sounds rly cute in the dub? And Barb too! She sounds extra sassy XD

-Wasabi and Fred still sound rly good in the dub, love them <3

-how dare you dub for giving me feels at the part where Juni is so happy her dreams are coming true, (and Barb is just so -_- bc she wants some of the spotlight... its ok Barb I’ll always cheer for you <3) hhhhhhh

-the way the dub does the “High Voltage~” just so cool

-nerd gang rly being like “AAAAAAA” when getting zapped which fair bc electricity hurts, like its a cartoon so we dont see the gang getting injured much but the dub is reminding me of that and... oof. their pain tolerance must be real high from superheroics 

-The little giggle from Karms when she sees Captain Cutie omg ADORABLE

-oh gosh i just realized im gonna have to encounter Mole in this ep.

-But first omg Karmi just sounds so cute when she’s gushing over her crush which tbh big mood

-Fred’s dramatic voice while explaining the lore of Issue 188... what a drama llama

-great... Mole

-huh.

-y’know

-his voice doesn’t sound as obnoxious as in English, still has that “smug cat” energy, but not as uhhh... annoying, I can live with this

-Also his voice doesn’t sound as deep, which fair, he’s 11

-...wait why was his voice so deep in the og? did he like... fake deepen his voice to sound more cooler?

-omg that would explain so much

-JP dub how dare you make me actually like Mole I’m suing /jk /lh

-oh the gum, now there’s the Mole I remember (his VA makes him sound more like an 11 y/o gremlin, but still can be a lil’ creepy... c’mon remember that part where he sniffed the gum?)

-Karms sounds so sad when her virus dies ;-; “shut him up!!” it sounds less angry and more pained... JP DUB HOW DARE YOU

-This dub is trying to make me cry over the show again and its working

-omg when Juni went flying @ Hiro and Baymax she went “hiyaaah!” and it was like the cutest thing ever WHY ARE YOU SO CUTE?!

-Gogo sounds 10x mad at Fred for the comic book thing hdhdhdhd

-noooo dub why, Juni sounds so scared when she realizes that the energy orb’s power is cut off D: 

-NOOOO DUB WHY. SHE SOUNDS SO UPSET (like about to cry upset) WHEN TRYING TO ESCAPE INSTEAD OF RISKING GETTING CAUGHT BY TRYING TO FREE HER MAMA HOW DARE YOU DUB. HOW DARE YOU

-im actually crying this is pain ;-; whyyyyyyy

-gosh they did such a good job voicing HV in the dub, dramatic and emotional as ever 

-hh still feels when Hiro and Karmi were talking outside of Granville’s office

-This dub is just gonna kill me w/ emotions ain’t it im just gonna be dead before i even get to the halloween episode 

-which is kind of ironic,,,,

-I’m so gonna rewatch this ep over and over w/ the dub bc it sounded just as awesome, if not awesomer! 

-And everyone sounds great n.n, esp my favs

Who do you think started crushing first with Karmi and Hiro? (Hiro Hiro, not Captain Cutie)

Who was the first one between the two of them?  Oh, absolutely Hiro.

I think that some people would try to point as early as “Issue 188″ as to when the feelings started happening, but I disagree.  I legitimately think that they were both annoyed by each other, and only Hiro offering a truce of sorts to her at the end got them off of each other’s backs (if only temporarily).

You have to remember that Karmi, by Go Go’s own admission, is not a popular student.  She doesn’t have friends.  She stays by herself, and she wants it that way.  Her reaction to Hiro being around is to dismiss him at every turn.  She was probably so confused that someone was even in her orbit that she did all she could do to throw him out.

I think the first time you could see something bubbling up with Hiro was in “Fan Friction”.  The end scene with her hugging him pretty much sums it up.  Yes, Hiro wasn’t being himself, but you could see that something was starting to develop there.  They’d gone through the ringer, and he had saved her life.  He sort of saw her as his responsibility.

Now, whatever feelings may had been there were quickly drowned in her attitude problems in her S1 and early S2 appearances...which brings us to Karmi. “Prey Date” was probably the time she started thinking about things on her end, and it’s the same reason why Hiro started falling for her: the danger.  Helping Knox with his mutation, having each other’s backs (literally), and finding out he had gotten kidnapped put a large weight on her head.  “What if I don’t see him again?” she was probably thinking.  “I’d never forgive myself.” And when the team came back to Sycorax and Go Go makes mention of her “friend”, she quickly denies being his friend and looks away. That’s the moment for her, right there.

And we all know what happened in “City of Monsters”.  They worked on the project together.  They got to understand each other a little better. He saved her life.

And then she fell for him.

Hard.

And we wouldn’t see her again for several in-show months before she came back in “Big Chibi 6″, where all of this gets reinforced.

She likes him. That is now canon. The only bad news is that we may not get any more episodes to see how it plays out. We can only hope.
