I swear, if I see one more motherfucker use Isn't She Lovely (a song by Stevie Wonder, a Black man, about his baby daughter) or I Saw The TV Glow (a story about a Black repressed trans woman who has struggled with accepting her own transness to the point that she is losing herself and her humanity) about jax or the amazing digital circus I'm going to fucking lose it.

Get your racist bullshit show, made by a woman so racist I'm shocked Ragatha wasn't a fucking piccaninny (I don't know if I spelled that right) doll, and your disgusting, violent, misogynistic, and horrible character who revels in hurting others, fantasizes about strangling women, actively enjoys the idea of being enbyphobic to someone at their own funeral, and then driving the person they were closest to to suicide out of spaces and art that belong to and are made by people who the creators of your garbage actively despise.

And if you already made art or posts about it, here's what you can do. (Not in chronological order)

1. Edit the tags if you tagged I Saw The TV Glow

2. Edit the post itself, if it makes mention of either I Saw The TV Glow or Isn't She Lovely (unless you're criticizing the use of the song in the show)

3. If either work is too central to your post, then just delete it

4. Educate yourself on the situation, and learn for yourself just how racist Gooseworx and the rest of the tadc cast is

5. Suppress whatever instinct you probably have to defend them, and accept that they are racist, and that that fact isn't magically false just because you enjoyed the show they made

6. Let everyone you know who has any interest in the show just how horrifically racist the cast and creator of the show are so that they don't support them any further.

7. If you know the details of the last episode's plot, consider talking about the plot with unmarked spoilers, so people won't be as motivated to support any of the racists involved with the show by watching episode 9 when it comes out.

I get that all of you are starved for transfem representation, and I agree that Jax was meant to be that, but it is absolutely disgusting seeing so many people be completely okay with supporting an extremely racist cast and creator, just for some shitty and frankly harmful transfem representation.
