I actually dont think anyone's playing any kind of board or card game up in Lanaudière - well I think maybe Ilya and Shane will play cards just the two of them if they're very bored and it's raining - but there's not a chance on this planet they can play with Yuna and David when they're all together after dinner at their cottage bc all combinations of teams are their own form of hell....
Shane + Yuna vs Ilya + David it's getting Oedipal, kind of sexy in a reallllllyyyyy weird way that winds up making them all uncomfortable (NOT a line Shane is used to baulking at, which makes it all the worse.... later in the car he's like "I think you've fucked up my mind so bad I can't even hang out with my parents anymore." and Ilya's like :) :) :) "You did that to yourself :)").
Shane + David and Yuna + Ilya.... Shane is getting more and more frustrated with his dad's style of play, Yuna and Ilya are dissolving into laughter every ten seconds over some little in-joke and Shane's like. Honestly ready to do murder...... starting spats with everyone... only child FLARING
Shane + Ilya vs Yuna + David is literal nuclear warfare. No one is leaving until everyone is dead. Obviously this configuration was their first foray and it was a miracle anyone survived. They all forgot who they were and where they were and what they were in the fog of battle. David thinks it can be solved with different teams........
