AU where Rex, Cody, Obi-Wan, Anakin and Ahsoka get chucked back in time, de-aged all the fun stuff....but they get split up in the process.
So on one hand you have Cody and Obi-Wan who are both roughly 14-ish running around trying not to fucking up the timeline too much. They are ruthlessly competent. Obi-Wan manages to figure out what year they're in, and where they are. They run into, and accidentally save Jaster Mereel which was not the goal but eh worked out for them. Obi-Wan has made the startling realization that Galidraan hasn't happened yet, and huh that's going to be an issue at some point. He can feel Anakin somewhere, their bond hasn't shattered yet but he's not sure what that means for them exactly, or how long that will last.
Meanwhile, Anakin and Rex are around 10 ish, Ahsoka is 7-8 and they have no fucking clue what's going on. Really no clue. They don't know they've time traveled. Anakin did not pay attention to history class. All they know is that there was this young-ish clone and a group of mandalorians. He doesn't look old enough to deploy yet...Rex's running therory is that he's deflecting. As such they lie through thier teeth about who they are. and Rex is just thankful that his hair is A) a different color and B) grown out slightly which makes them look different enough it's okay. Anakin and Rex are so stressed they are vibrating because both of them are children, Ahsoka is younger. Anakin is scared out of his mind that slavers will find them. But everyone knows that slavers don't fuck with mandalorians. (Anakin also knows that Mandalorians do not like Jedi, he vaugly recalls Obi-Wan having a rant or three about it). Ahsoka is tiny and she hates it. Nobody takes her seriously, and Rex and Anakin are so scared she can feel it in the force. If the seperatists found them like this...it would be bad.
Meanwhile the True Mandalorians were split up by a freak storm, and comns were cut so now they're just making their way to the pre agreeded on meeting spot. Jango is worried about Jaster. Jaster is worried about Jango, but it's fine. Everyone in both groups is really fucking concerend about these children that hold themselves like soliders. Rex and Cody have slipped up once and twice and called Obi-Wan and Anakin General. Ahsoka refuses to be anywhere not within reach of Anakin because if 'the bad people' show up he'll need her to guard his back. Obi-Wan stares blankly at a blaster shot and then walks it off like it is nothing. Anakin has a metal hand.
