Just saw someone use the "there is still time" screenshot on an ask about not being plural (anymore) and honestly... Yeah?

We didn't stop being plural, but we did stop acknowledging our plurality and engaging with our headmates, to the point where we genuinely considered just... Doing the equivalent of going back in the closet, I suppose?

And it Sucked! For a lot of reasons!! Our system is our biggest coping strategy and support system, our biggest escape and what we pull most of our inspiration from for our creative stuff. We didn't become less plural, just, less Aware, and less functional as a result! It sucked!! And it still sucks!!! We're only barely creeping towards how we used to be with it, and that creeping is Laced with shame and embarrassment and anxiety, but fuck!!!! I love my system and I love my headmates, even when we're all kind of awful, and I love spending time thinking and talking about the system!!!!!

I love making silly little profiles!! I love making silly little avatars and system portraits!! I wanna do more of the inner world travel posters we started in 2020!!! I wanna write shitty mini-fics about the system!! I wanna world build based on it!! I wanna make things for it!!! I want to enjoy it unapologetically and uncompromisingly and I want to be completely indifferent to what anyone else thinks!!!!! Aaah!!!!
