#i give him a pass for having his first experience be in widescreen hd resolution 60 fps hd texture pack #because he otherwise did engage with ocarina of time honestly #his only other experience with zelda seems to have been botw and totk #and usually i don’t have much hope for people like that but there wasn’t a single complaint about any mechanics being different #like no lamenting the lack of a jump button #or any mention of having been trained to pull out the paraglider after jumping off a tall platform #i would have assumed he hadn’t played any zelda game before this if he hadn’t mentioned how #oot dungeons are structured in a way more satisfying than he got out of botw and totk #it was refreshing

Gotta love a movie where each character actually contributes something to the storyline, actually affects the plot.
