Those times I accidentally press those recommended photos on the bottom of the post thingy on tumblr mobile scares the fuck out of me like

I just wanted to buy a newspaper... So, my dislike of newspaper delivery made me get a mod to stop it. Great! But I'm planning a hood with no NPCs. And if I wanted my sims to buy a paper at an owned business? Challenging. Here's the gist of my trying to work this out.

Neither the rack from cmomoney & MogHughson or the rack cloned from it by Sigmund Sims work on owned lots. Sims just stand at the register doing nothing. Unowned lots with npc cashiers, they work fantastically.

Then, I tried the buyable newspaper by Reece on MTS and the newspaper box by Simslice. Neither are fully functioning newspapers. No composting, can't get a job with them, no checking the weather.

This little box by ahowardmiller (assisted by twojeffs) on MTS is the only way I've found so far to buy a fully functional newspaper on an owned lot. Can't find any paper dispensers cloned from this one or any recolors (anyone know of any?). I can only do the simplest of recolors, but that might be the way to go.

🌹 Her Elegancy Headcanon

Battle hardened.  Beautiful, but deadly.  Renowned as the best soldier on the Mist continent.  While Beatrix has such astounding reputations of her undefeated military status, she becomes an elegant staple at select times.  Those who see her nearly believe she is not the same general.

Being in the company of the Queen, be it to protect or advise, she’s often to participate in formal events in Alexandria.  Without armor or visible weapon, and adorn in an attire befitting a noblewoman.  As this is a rare occurrence, the Rose of May captivates the attention of many attendees.

Stares do not bother her.  And she gets many stares.  Instead it’s the length of her dress which may limit mobility to run if needed.  

And though the general is more than capable of hand-to-hand combat, there’s always a hidden blade beneath her dress.
