this isn't on ao3. I'm the dipshit who wrote it. Alive things like humans also float, of course, but I figured that becoming an orb would make morbius denser since it's all his mass in a smaller volume and that's how density works.

And yes, MORB does in fact stand for mid-ocean ridge basalt, as I found out in my marine geology class today (and which is what inspired this stupid thing)
