just watched a video of a young couple scared and confused but ultimately standing firm and protecting their fucking door dash delivery person from a full on ice raid and something about an indigenous american woman sheltering a terrified woman and their own 2 year old child from these fucking thugs (who were resting their hands on their guns the entire time) by screaming 'my people were killed for this? get the fuck off my property - you are illegal on stolen fucking land!' and i don't know how to articulate why that ripped actual sobs out of my chest but a queer woman confronting these fascists and being murdered for it and an indigenous woman protecting someone she doesn't know to the point of running the fascists the fuck away - whatever criticisms you might have about idpol or whatever, there is a root of class consciousness that has forced its way to tenacious life through the weed killer and concrete where the oppressed have been educated through their experience of systemic violence about who they fucking stand with when it's on the fucking line and i'm furious and terrified but we are a fucking working class that cannot be killed and everything that knits us together against the exploiters and death worshippers is precious beyond words

You don't understand how much I love and admire the first Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy. Then the 4th one felt a bit unnecessary but it tied Jack's story really well. With how he had been searching for eternal life in all 4 movies, ending it with him coming to terms with the fact that being a legend would grant him eternal life was truly beautiful. Yes. Jack Sparrow will live forever.

And then they fucking ruined everything with the worst movie ever made.
