I think one of the funniest things about Jean-Paul is that he wasn't even religious to start with. Later on he embraced religion, and im sure there's been some type of retcon about this now thats its been a few decades, but from what I remember he was straight up in college doing his thing only for his father to die in front of him and pass off the mantle, be kidnapped to Switzerland and get told that actually his family line are hosts for the angel Azrael and it is his job now to Kill Sinners for The Church.

Like Jean-Paul, 21 years old, who only went to church during Easter and Christmas at the behest of his father and was pretty sure he was agnostic but didnt have time to think about it, got Dean Supernaturaled. Worse actually, motherfucker didnt even get real angels
