I’ve been seeing a lot of debate on whether or not Superman IS an immigrant or not, illegal alien, refugee, whatever, and to give my two cents I kinda don’t think it rlly matters, especially now.

What matters is despite whether or not he’s here legally, ICE would try to deport him all the same, seeing as how they’ve been deporting American citizens recently.

He’s still an outsider, literally an alien, a fact emphasized by his powers.

And ofc even when Clark is in America legally, no one would know because no one knows who Superman actually is. I think people forget that citizens don’t know Superman’s secret identity like we as readers or viewers do. They don’t know that he came to Earth as a baby and grew up here cuz Superman appeared to the public as an adult.

Theres probs a comic or show storyline somewhere that covers this, idk.
