Swap!AU - Slashers as camp counselors
(Au inspired by my ask of @slashfic-daydreams - decided to write about how the slashers would be as the final victims)

Warnings : violence mentioned, stalking, very obvious issues with each swap!slasher
The party animal himself, in the swap au many of his personality traits remain the same as does a bit of his backstory just without the darkness taking over
Now he would have definitely encouraged the reading of the book or possibly even read it himself (still unsure about the decision on that) causing things to go into mayhem just as he likes
He doesn't take any part of it seriously, like come on? Really? A slasher going after them? He's going to assume it's a weird freak in a clown costume until his head almost gets served up in a silver platter
Now that's when he starts taking things seriously sort of
But when he sees that all of his escape options are out of reach he learns to suck it up and deal with it, I mean slasher!MC won't kill him until full moon! Which is in a week, yeah he's cooked
Would 100% still be very flirty and cocky with slasher!MC thinking that if he charmed them enough, they wouldn't kill him but it doesn't really work that does it?
As of later chapters (like right now) when he gets given the option of 'does he still trust MC?' It would be 50/50 he thinks they're fun! Loveable but they wanna kill him, so that's not fun at all
He wouldn't go by Ghost, he'd use his original name 'Joey' but Ghost is a fun nickname
Jay is the one that freaks out the most, to being the most vulnerable in the original story he's still as vulnerable in the swap au, maybe even worse
He does still have his instincts on wanting to deal with rude people a different way but he remembers that wasn't how he was raised
Talking about how he was raised, he wasn't kidnapped, he has his own nice little family which makes him a very gentle camp counselor - one that really wouldn't call harm
He hates the stalking, the weird calls, everything that Slasher!MC does to terrify him and the rest of the guys, he wants it to stop but knows it all instinct, it's what the darkness tells slasher!MC to do
Sorry to say but he would the most stereotypical trope, the person that things 'I can change them with love!'
He believes that if he showed enough love, care and admiration that it would all stop, it wouldn't infact and it would get much worse to his dismay but props to him for atleast trying it out?
Now in the newest chapter when he's given the choice of 'Do you still trust MC?' his answer will be yes, he hopes that they don't want the violence, key word : HOPES
The most protective which hey! It matches with how he originally is in the story!
He'd absolutely despise slasher!MC and their stupid attempts to try and kill them, torture them, make them regret ever showing up at the camp - he also hates how Riley and Ghost have read that stupid book which led them into this unfortunate predicament
Now he'd soften up slightly when he hears that really Slasher!MC didn't have a choice (depending on what story you'll give them) that they just were winded up in a place they didn't want to be in and how it affected them mentally aswell as others around, he understands that and may make an effort to help them
If it was more of a family related issue, he'd understand, his family isn't the best and actually suck to be around which is why he even accepted coming here in the first place, it was just to get away
However they're still a slasher, this isn't a Disney book with a happy ending, they will always remain a slasher in his mind especially if they have not shown to try and fight off the darkness within them (which is harder to do then be said)
When asked if he would still trust slasher!MC his answer would be no, they're still a killer that thirsts for blood so why should he? Especially with the way you attempted to attack him multiple times before
Oh boy here we go, you know how everybody is always wanting a realistic final survivor that would align with what the viewer deems as smart? He's the guy
By far the most realistic and smartest survivor, he knows exactly what to do (odly) against Slasher!MC but unlike the other guys throughout it all, shows no sympathy not even a pinch of it
However wanting to pinch in a bit more of his original motives, he'd still say 'mine' in a way, just like the original he wants to kill slasher!MC so he'd say it in a way that means, 'Mine to kill, to make sure nobody else gets harmed'
He's a lot more quiet, barely speaks and doesn't even try to make conversation with slasher!MC, he's pissed at Ghost for joining in with Riley, hates how Leather is acting 50/50, despises Jay for going the pacifist route but oh hell! Seems like the only people agreeing with him are Damien, Nico and Jaxon, but they're both still acting dumb!
Whenever someone gets injured by slasher!MC, he'd tell them straight up, "I told you so" cause he did, there's no spinning this one
When he's asked whether he trusts MC or not, it'd be a definite 'No' he doesn't, he never will because once a slasher, always a slasher
