OKAY SECOND SUCCESS STORY OF THE WEEK WHATTTTT

Okay so some backround, I am currently homeschooled and I am taking AP courses. Because my homeschool does not provide these courses I have to contact schools myself as ask to take the test there. Now if i was on the normal timeline I could have just used on of the schools provided BUT THEY HAD SPECIAL DEADLINES. AND the one school that I could take AP Chemistry at APUSH WASN'T AVAILABLE.

Also keep in mind that I was signing up on the last possible day when schools were already ordering their tests. So on the 14th i was calling schools all day and barely had any luck except for two schools who said they MIGHT HELP ME. BTW I had to call all of the schools in my large ass city and only two said they MIGHT help me... what. Things were pretty bleak i will say. The thing is even though when I was on the phone with schools all day being told "no" 60-70 times. I would continue to affirm thorugh the pain. Thinking things like "Its okay I already signed up""its okay a school already let me test there""im already testing at a school its so chill". MEANWHILE I WAS TWEAKING TF OUTTTT.

KK fast forward, one out of two of the schools who said they might help me I reached out to and started a correspondence with them, communicating with their AP coordinator. And guess what *gasp* EVEN THOUGH I WAS CRASHING OUT MY AFFIRMATIONS STILL REFLECTED. Now, I am signed up for the test and life is good. I am literally so happy because if i didn't know about loa i would be cooked chat.

Hello, idk if this is the right place to talk about this but I feel like I'm going insane because no one else is talking about it. But I feel like the Dhurandhar tag is being absolutely flooded with AI writing rn. I noticed it first with a couple of creators but I thought it's fine cos you can't police everyone and it is so hard to prove AI (especially cos of the Hindi/Urdu dialogues that throw detectors off)... plus I didn't want to accuse someone and start a controversy.

But I saw someone post nearly 20 chapters of a fic in 24 hours, and they have talked about using AI for writing... look idc how talented someone is, no one can write 20 chapters in one day. (Oh, and the English parts of the fic were detected to be AI). The problem with letting something like this slide is that it floods the tags and buries the legit writers, who work for days to write something for their stories... people like that essentially steal all the attention in the room and leave nothing for others.

I'm kinda irritated cos this person was specifically told why AI isn't good (plagiarism + environmental concerns) but they're doing it anyways. I don't know what kind of joy they get by spitting out AI generated text (because the best part of putting out fanfic is getting love and validation for something YOU wrote- if a machine wrote it then I don't see how it would be the same).

Yeah idk where I'm going with this, I kinda just wanted to put it out there.

Bro real, ik andar hi andar, all of us- at one point- must have used gpt in order to make it write us fanfiction yk- either for a dead fandom or just random fantasies- but again- that story is in my gpt ki library. NOT on Tumblr.

Ai stories are fine, but keep them to yourself.

If you have the talent to think about a storyline- good enough to continue posting 20-30 chapters (ai written btw) of it, the least you can do is either write yourself OR Collab with someone- send requests, ask for help.

And don't give me the bs- oh not everyone has the talent- bro english ka exam sabne likha hai, usme bhi same hi hota hai- making up stories- at least written part mei.

Bro if your work has a good concept- if the storyline is good, if the mere idea or even the aesthetics are good- people will read and appreciate it more than you can actually fathom.

Stop hiding behind the excuse that- oh I'm not blessed enough to be able to write- don't be crony🥀🥀bro you can write in tapori/slangs bhi and people WOULD EAT IT UP-- infact they find it hilarious

Because it's how I also write yk, mera writing ka style is not at all different from how I speak (except I use loads of curses, not the proudest moment but meh-) I've published stories on Wattpad using slangs, using memes, using words that don't even exist- dikhao-ing etc lol- they just make the text seem more human, and the actual characters more human too yawr.

If you can write long ahhh answers in your defence for using ai, you can EASILY write a few dialogues.

Also, yawr ai use karre ho to at least warning to de do- the following is a work of chatgpt, not a human lol

AND if you wanna post? Idc, i ain't reading that either way, BUT at least don't post like- 8-9 chapters a day-

1) it's annoying

2) people who actually write? YAH, their work takes time- and GOD FORBID if someone posted their khoon paseene ki mehnat on Tumblr in the middle of your posting spree- aa gyi reach lol.

3) I won't even go and start moral policing- ai uses water and all- it does but hey. I use it too, as a student, it's how I do my phaltu ke SEC/VAC ke assignments.

4) and as an avid user of the gpt MYSELF- ik how bad it is nowadays. To write the way you do- it takes LOADS OF PROMPTS- explaining baar baar- again and again to sound HUMANISTIC AND REAL.

Same hi chapter ko you have to like- make glt write at least 3 baar to get what you want and usme mei editing bahot saari-

Itni mehnat kar hi rahe hai, to write khud se na.

4) give other writers ideas, prompts so they can ACTUALLY USE THEIR HANDS TO WRITE WHAT YOU WANT THEM TO. that way, you can make friends too

Collab with someone- tell them- hey idea- then add in dialogues- (that's what sometimes @chaotickittydreamer and I do because I love her and I hope she aces her exams, bless her y'all)

Be HUMAN.

Rely on HUMANS.

Don't use ai as therapists (because I'm studying to be one and my job might be in danger because of a CLANKER💢💢)
