Lowkey i went to my hoco game the night before and the damn costume was still not done, so i was up until 1 am finishing it, only to get up at 8 am to actually go to the comic con. Despite that, it was incredibly fun!!!! AND. MY FRIEND @marokra WENT AS DDVAU GRIAN TO MATCH :DDDD

Deadass i was not joking when i say con crunch carried.

The pants themselves weren’t even done before I left for the football game, so i had to do that too.

The pants (and this costume in general) is based off of @kitsuneisi and @xmaruu11’s DDVAU aka Double Hearted and i feel like personally i nailed the pants. Other than a few small details i was super proud of them :DD

This. This damn shirt took the longest. I flipped a tight fitting top inside out and used it!! I tried to do the cutout piece at the top but alas it looks kinda funky. I wore a mesh shirt underneath this to get the look Hotguy has in the comics. Unfortunately i was in no mood to sew a sleeve on to i made a glove out of leggings, my artist glove, and some safety pins!!! I’m going to try and add the sleeves for future conventions to make the fit more comic accurate but thats a later me project :3

For the boots I unfortunately did not have thigh highs that i could paint on💔 so instead i once again chopped up leggings and painted those!! When shoved into my not thigh highs boots it actually looks very cool therefore I like these. I tried to mimic that patterns on the boots but again. Late at night and i tried my best.

LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST. THE BRAELET MY FRIEND MADE @marokra YOU ABSOLUTE GOAT I LOVE THE BRACELTS SO MUCH THANK YOU KING

Closing stuff. I love Hotguy. Literally my fav guy ever. I got recognized twice!!!! Which was so cool to me :DDD anyways if you read all this here you get a gold star ⭐️

Hmmm im unsure of how to feel about this first episode of The Vampire Lestat. I mean...im gonna be honest yall i didnt love it, didnt even like it. Im not saying im giving up on this season because im not. Not yet.

And i personally didnt really like the first ep of the second season either (thought it was very grim) and that season became so fundamentally important to me and i also believe it had one of the best writing ive ever witnessed.

Its just, idk, i honestly dont like Lestat that much. I think his relationships are intersting (especially with Louis and Armand) but when it comes to him as a person, i just dont vibe with it as much. I feel like im the only one in this fandom to say that which is fine. But yeah, thats how i feel. I also dont necessarily love too many references to modern things (like Labubus, what the hell was that about?!) in my shows
