A/N: THIS WAS LIKE A YEAR AGO OR WHATEVER I LITERALLY PULLED AN ALL NIGHTER RN FOR THIS CAUSE I HATE HAVING IT STUCK BEHIDN MY BRAIN FOR THE PAST MONTHS AND IM DEFFINITELY TRYING TO WRITE MORE. Fuck ai we do this lazy n tired, BYE LOVETONS!.
It started with a joke from his fans, his voice being put into ai generators because of their curiosity on whether or not he could actually sing. He didn't even realize that it was an actual AI trying to imitate him and thought he might have accidentally sang it in one of his drunk streams, until his chat kept saying it's an ai cover of him.
Flicking throught the youtube playlist his viewers sent on his discord server, he clicked a new video titled 'Jschlatt Gangname Style Al Cover'.
He let it play for a few seconds but once the chorus rolled in he was immediately take aback. With a shocked expression plastered on his face, he thought 'Holy shit it's actually good'. Theres no way they think he can speak Korean THAT fluently??? How did they even manage to do that with his voice?.
"The hell? People actually listen to this shit?" he said, looking at the views the video has and holy shit it reached 53k views???

"THE FUCK YOU GUYS TALKING BOUT' THE AI DOING IT BETTER HUH?' he looked at his chat messages, shocked that many people in his chat actually think that he sings like that. I mean, it is close but come on, he can't reach those high notes and his voice can go WAY deeper than what the AI can do.

An idea made it's way in his head, what if he actually sang a song with someone and upload it? Maybe with the right partner he can add it to his album like an ultra mega giga deluxe package to get more streams. Ofcource we're all about that bag boys.

But of course there would be fans that see you both outside in an obviously romantic restaurant, in which Schlatt confidently dismisses their assumptions of you guys being out on a 'date' and cover it as a joke saying 'the other restaurants taste like shit' and that this is the 'only tolerable one that doesn't make me puke' is what he said to the eagerly interested fans.
"Wow you're such a believable liar" you said jokingly to schlatt once the fan eventually walks a way. Schlatt throws a look your way that says 'you got a better excuse?'.
It's not like you both don't want to be public, hell you can't even hide it anymore! Your viewer saw his hoodie on your bed behind you while you were streaming and talking about your recent song release. You just said that it's his merch, of course you have a hoodie of his.
Your audiences has alway been connected, if they watched schlatt theres a 90% that they know or have watched you too. If he posts on insta there's a 100% chance that you're there even if it's not obvious.
Schlatt's latest insta post was centered around his trip to Japan, the only people clearly visible on the photos were Ted and Tucker BUT on the last picture there was a blurry stolen shot of you looking out from the apartment he rented for that vlog specifically.
Schlatt thought you look beautiful with your red cocktail dress with the city lights shining the window causing your dress to sparkle.
After that your fans gave started to catch on a bit and question your actual relationship. They only ever saw you during his youtube vlogs, and you frequently held the camera for him so fans never knew you were the girl on the picture of his insta.
Schlatt also kept teasing you about your unexpected appearance on his stream. It was during a recording session with schlatt and a few of his friends, where they were playing PEAK. You accidentally called out to him and asked him to try some of the cookies you just baked. Complete focused on his reaction you failed to notice the red light emitting from his camera.
Although all did was cup your hand below his chin to prevent the crumbs from falling, it still got his chat rilled up and teased him half of the stream for being treated like a princess.
His fans also recognized your voice from the back vocals of 'white Christmas', which gave Schlatt the idea that maybe you could do the duet with him since his fans loved you voice so much
And in Schlatt's perspective, it'll be like a cute little piece from the both of you showing how great you work together, not just from the harmonies of your voices but also showing a bit of your dynamic as a couple (only if your fans squint).
The preparation was a bit hard, finding out what songs to cover and how it would sound like with both of your voices combined. But then you guys ultimately ended up with White Christsmas as the bonus song of his album. Actually making the song was easy, atleast for Schlatt, but for you maybe a bit frustrating.
You both also decided that hell why not make one of those behind the scenes recording booth shit. Now let's start the recording shall we? In 3…2…1…start
You cross your arms as you say the first line of the song, "I reallyyy can't stayyy", and then Schlatt a few inches beside you with his own mic slightly leans to grab your shoulders as he follows your part "But, babyyy its cold outside".
"I've got to go away" you say as you try to act like you're about to leave , Schlatt's hands on your shoulder travels down to your waist preventing you to 'leave' as he repeats his previous line. "This evening has been so very nice" you say as Schlatt says his line "I'll hold your hands, there just like ice" before he holds your hand on top of his and kisses the back of your hand.
And it just continues like that, you wonder where this sudden boldness came from since you both agreed that this footage would be uploaded as a behidn the scenes.
"My Mother will start to worry" he then tucks your hair behind your ear, "Beautiful, what's your hurry?"
"My Father will be pacing the floor", Schlatt follows it by letting his hand travell from your cheeck to your back gesturing at an imaginary space, "Listen to the fireplace roar".
"So really I'd better scurry, you face him as to foloow the song's story, "Beautiful, please don't hurry" he said placing his hands on either sides of your waist and swaying you both. "But maybe just a half a drink more" you said grabbing your half empty alcohol of choice that helped you both loosen up for this recording, "Put some records on while I pour".
You suddenly turned around with your hands on your cheek like someone caught you both and sang "The neighbors might think" you sang acting nervous. "Baby, It's bad out there" he spins you around gently and placed his hands on your sides. Now you then look at the drink your holding and playfully send Schlatt a suspecious glare,
"Say, what's in this drink?" and he smirks at you and took your glass and put it back on the shelf near the camera, "No cabs to be had out there"
"I wish I knew howww to break this spelll" you both look into each other seemingly mesmerized. "Your eyes are like starlight now" he responds swaying you both now as you hold each other.
"To break this spelll" ypu continue, "I'll take your hat, your hair looks swell" He takes an imaginary hat from you head and pretends to toss it on the floor while going back and messing your hair after. "I ought to say no no no, sir" you cross your arms acting upset, "Mind if I move in closer" he followed, now closing the previous distrance between you two as he traps you in his arms.
You both dance like a cute back and forth couple, but as the song nears it end your faces are now inches away from each other as you look down at his lips and OFCOURSE he has that fuckass hot grin and you lowkey feel like kissing him, but you hold back cause of the camera recording.
But Schaltt? Nah he give zero fucks, he leans in and covers the camera before it sees your lips ever touch, and the video stops there.
The day after, fans posted their thoughts and shock from the new bonus song, but not suprised on the fact that Schlatt would absolutely do something just to smite his fans. But honestly? They already felt that you two were together, I mean would friends ever call each other "Friends" in the same amount as you guys trying to conceal your real relationship.
Bonus: Cuddling with schlatt on your comfortable bed, with your head on his chest and him half laying and sitting up position on his side of the bed. Feeling him tap lightly in your hair after he massaged it, you look up at him waiting to ask what was it. You hear him snap a picture and swiftly turn him phone infront of you. It was a photo of you merely seconds ago with a soft look on your face, laying on his chest with his hand caressing your hair.
You ask him what it was for your eyes drift to the top part of the picture. It was a screen showing that he took the picture on instagram. He brings the phone screen back to him and typed, whike you asked "Who are you showing that to?" curious cause you don't recall any plans for today with anyone.
Schlatt continued typing until he stops and said calmly "to everyone", you give him a confused look before he then brought his phone screen infront of you once more. It's the same picture but now with a caption that said "Day off with my girl" and the post setting showed it as 'public'.
Immediate likes and replies filled his instagram notifications, but he choose to close the app and let his fans freak out about it all as if it came out of the blue (to them it probably did).
Phone turned off and now disgarded on the nightstand he continues with massaging your scalp as he looks at you with a calm and content expression. "You sure about doing that? What if they don't like it?" You said hesitantly, but spoke from what your thoughts were saying.
"Who cares, don't give a fuck about em anyways" his reply made you speechless, you took in his words and the sudden choice to let your fans know that you are both in fact have been dating. He reaches for your hand that's rested on his chest, wrapping his hand below yours he held it up to his lips and pressed a gentle kiss. "Why would I? When I have the one person I need here right now".
