Its single arm and legs were horribly twisted and torn apart, and its wing blades were nearly all shattered into tiny pieces. Then there was the matter of its completely crushed chassis. Fragile mechanisms dented and bent, fuel lines shredded, wires frayed and stripped. And yet V1 still worked.
