The whole episode has to be building towards "Eleven is going to kill herself."
1:16:40 after they're filming a scene from ep8 with the red scripts, there's ominous music and crow sound effects that plays over the transition from one of the duffers looking at a screen to the next shot #conformitygate
I don't have a clip but that "final table read" IS SO FAKE IT'S FUNNY.
The way they all cried like they all thought the ending was really that emotional and perfect? Compare it to the GOT cast reacting to their own finale and everyone's reaction is different.
