A quiet whistle leaves her lips as her keys are thoughtlessly tossed into the air, a jangle meeting her ears as they’re caught, twisted and twirled before tossed again. The stars glint off the metal, cool air wisping from her lips before they’re caught again. She’s sprawled on the roof of her car in the middle of the usual nowhere of Storybrooke’s woods, badge unclipped by her waist and keys once more swirling in the air, lost in her thoughts as her eyes skim along the now-familiar reaching branches of trees. 

That is, until she hears a rustle in the trees next to her, waist instantly lifting off the hood, keys hitting her shoulder instead of her palm, rattling against the hood of her car. “Oh.” She lets out a small breath when she catches sight of who’s pushing through the brush, shaking her head, “Hey. What’re you doing out here?”

"Katherine!" Robin yelled as his wife walked away trying to regain her attention after their fight. He snatched for her arm as gently as he could be before pulling her to his body in a passionate embrace.
