My friend: There is no such thing as a silent ‘G’.
Me: Ha! That’s bologna!
We threw shade at JRR Tolkien for naming the fire pit in Mordor, Mount Doom, but how about we throw some at Nintendo, for naming a location in Ocarina of Time, Death Mountain.

Late Night Thoughts
Have you ever thought about dreams? Why things are so strange, wispy, or distorted? For instance, think about reading in a dream. You can see the words, yes, and you may even be able to tell what they say, but when you try to physically read them it’s no easy task. When in a dream state, I think your brain is in a ‘fill in the gaps’ type of state, so you’re seeing a kind of filler object, essentially you’re seeing the Idea of words and not actual words. Strange thing to think about, isn’t it? This can be said about most aspects of a dream really, your brain is working to create something you can comprehend/see out of these raw or primal thoughts we have. Now think about this, when you imagine, daydream, or try to picture something, your brain is going through a similar process. You can try to picture things and in a way you can ‘see’ them, but at the same time you are still actively seeing the world around you. Your brain is sending these ideas and at the same time translating them to you in a way that you can understand it more clearly. Without this pseudo-visual aspect it would become much harder to understand our own thoughts, wouldn’t it? The way our brains work is both mysterious and fascinating.
If somebody tries to change you, Try changing direction and walking away.
