When will I stop?

I’m disappointed in you. You know better but you pushed it because you wanted to go please yourself. Are you really that selfish !? Are you really that weak!? Do you not have self control, any self discipline!? Why do you do this to yourself!? Tbh you really know how to put an act. It’s not cute grow up! If I came and you’d care to be with me you wouldn’t have fallen like you always do. But you’re actions show that you don’t love me. You say it but I need to see it in your actions, in your behavior, it’s not cutting it to just hear you say it. If you’d love me for real you’d communicate with me better, you would talk to me about everything first, when the times of temptation, anger, desperation, sadness and when your anxiety is coming down on you, you would come and find me to help you! But you don’t instead, you dwell on them and you feel sorry for yourself. It ain’t like that. Wake up already and grow up stop being so afraid. I have given you it all... everything you’ve asked of me and more than what you’ve asked of, do not be ungrateful, do not be like those you once said you wouldn’t want to be. Do not think you can fool me. You know that I am loving and forgiving but you need to stop and turn away from all the toxins you’ve allowed in your life. You ask for change and you cry and wonder if I am even listening and I am it’s just that you don’t feel like it because you have distanced yourself too far from me that you can’t hear me whisper! All the noise you’ve created around you is not allowing for you to listen and hear me.

Regardless I will always love you but I can’t save you if you don’t change...

¿Recuerdan como cada año nuestros papás nos compraban nuestros útiles para iniciar el nuevo ciclo escolar? No sé ustedes, pero a mí me daba mucha emoción regresar a la escuela, no sólo para ocupar los colores nuevos, las libretas y la mochila, sino porque veía a mis amigos y en particular aunque a muchos les parezca raro, me gustaba la escuela. En momentos como estos pienso detenidamente como la mayoría de las veces no valoramos lo que tenemos, siempre pensamos en todo lo que nos hace falta y no podemos adquirir por x o y situación, hablo específicamente de cosas materiales porque hay un punto al que quiero llegar. Me atrevo a afirmar que casi todos tuvimos la oportunidad de iniciar un ciclo escolar por lo menos con un lápiz y goma nuevos. Ahora imagínense a los miles de niños que están en situaciones totalmente contrarias a las que nosotros vivimos, hay niños que nisiquiera pueden ir a la escuela, no porque no quieran, hay niños que si van, pero no llevan lo necesario, para poder desempeñarse en el ámbito escolar. Hoy en casa mi mamá dijo que sacarían muchas cosas que ya no ocupan mi sobrino y mi hermanita y que mi hermana la mayor las llevaría al lugar donde está trabajando. Ese lugar nisiquiera está a media hora de Puebla y hay muchas familias de escasos recursos. ¿Qué que va a llevar? Pues únicamente son colores, lápices, plumones, lapiceros, tijeras, de esos que ya no ocupas porque ya compraste nuevos. Entonces yo estaba muy aburrida y se ocurrió hacer paquetitos con ellos, la verdad no son muchos, pero a todos les puse una notita. Es una acción mínima, pero imagino que quién los reciba, tendrá la misma cara que yo ponía o inclusive pongo aún cúando recibo un regalo o compro lapiceros nuevos. Tal vez si tienes en casa cosas que tus hermanos o hijos ya no ocupan y piensas que pueden tener vida útil aún, te invito a donarlos. En una sociedad llena de consumidores, en la cual me incluyo, creo que no necesitamos generar más deshechos, no todo se debe ir a la basura, ya que si algo ha perdido valor para nosotros, puede que eso mismo le sea de utilidad a alguien más.
