Written for this GKM prompt
This fic is now COMPLETE. Hugs and kisses to Byrd for the stunning graphic she made for this fic, and for letting me use it. Many thanks to everyone who has supported me along the way, those who subscribed and reviewed and kept me encouraged even when I struggled. Thank you also to the original prompter for such a lovely prompt to work with. Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book of all time, so rewriting it with a Glee and Klaine twist has been a true experience.

do you know when you might update looking for it (finding heaven)?
A great question, nonnie, and thank you for asking! I had to put lfi (and all other WIPs) on temporary hold because of RL insanity. Hopefully that is bearing the end; I am answering this from my new house, and hopefully we will have some semblance of organization and normalcy very soon.
So while I can’t give you a definite date to look for a new chapter, know that it won’t be much longer. As a bonus, my muse has done some major percolating, so I definitely hope this chapter will be somewhat worth the wait!
Title: We Both Found What We Were Looking For
Author: Ittlebitz
Pairing: Kurt/Blaine
Rating: NC-17 overall, G this chapter
Warnings for this chapter: Brief mention of masturbation, but that's about it.
Disclaimer: I don't own Glee, but I have three different versions of Pride and Prejudice on DVD, at least two copies of the book (both very well read), and have read tons of P&P AUs and sequels.
Author's note: This was written for a GKM prompt. You probably know it by now...
Aaaaaaaaaatttt laaaaaaaaaaassssstttttttt
*pops confetti*
It's finally here! The moment we've all been waiting for. Time to get these two ridiculous boys together. I've been looking forward to this part for so very long. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it. All that's left after this is the epilogue. I have things planned for that.
I was given the prompt by a lovely reviewer to pay homage to the early morning walk scene in the Keira Knightly/Matthew Macfadyen version of Pride and Prejudice. My attempt was to fuse a bit of both, and I do hope I managed to do it justice.
Thank you to all of you have stuck by me during my writing of this and have been so lovely and supportive. Your reviews and encouragement have meant the world to me. It's been a lovely journey, and I hope you've enjoyed yourself along the way.
And now may I present...Kurt and Blaine become Klaine. Love is all you need.
It took hours the next morning before Kurt was able to concentrate on anything other than Lady Sue's taking the trouble to travel all the way from Cheerio Castle for the sole purpose of breaking off his supposed engagement to Blaine. He was at a loss as to how she came to that conclusion, until he had the thought that Blaine was Finn's best friend and he was Rachel's brother, both unattached, and of course expectation of one wedding might lead to thoughts of another. Even he had to confess to hopefully thinking that he might find himself more in Blaine's company now that the happy arrangement had been made. Of course, with their neighbors the Jones' in communication regularly with Mercedes, and thereby Sam, naturally the news would reach Lady Sue's ears.
He couldn't help feeling some uneasiness about any consequences Lady Sue's persistence in interfering might have. It sounded like she fully intended to take her grievances to her nephew, and Kurt wasn't sure how Blaine might react to a similar representation of the evils attached to a connection with him. He didn't know the exact degree of affection Blaine had for his aunt or how much stock he put into her judgement, but it seemed a natural conclusion that he thought higher of Her Ladyship than Kurt did, and by enumerating the miseries of a marriage to someone whose immediate connections were so unequal to his own, Sue would be striking Blaine on one of his most vulnerable points. He might find the same arguments that Kurt found to be weak and ridiculous to instead show good sense and reasoning.

hi! i just wanted to say that i love your fic looking for it (finding heaven). i think you're a really talented writer and i love the world and society you've created for the fic. i was wondering if you'd consider writing a chapter maybe where stiles does something to get in trouble and derek has to punish him? not in like a kinky way i just think it would just be cool to see how derek would handle that kind of situation. thanks and keep up the great work :)
I appreciate this ask so much!
I actually do have this planned for a future chapter. This is something I want to explore more, both as an interest and as a challenge to myself as a writer. I have lots of things planned for our boys, and I hope you will stick around and see.
Thanks for taking time to read and for visiting my ask. I love it!
One of my favorite things about getting my beta'd updates back from Sies is when she gets excited over something I did and gives me all caps commentary. It's how I know I did a good. <333
Snippet: looking for it (finding heaven)
So many people have been sending me such lovely messages of encouragement and support in regards to lfi! I appreciate them all so much, you have no idea.
I thought maybe I could put a little teaser up to show that I am close to finishing the rewrite. Everyone has been so patient and kind, especially since it has taken me forever to update, between RL and deleting the file. So, anyway, for anyone interested, teaser below the cut...
Everyone knows from birth if they are a Dom or a sub. Markers in the blood show which one is going to be, and when maturity is reached, a tattoo is put on the left hand that displays which you are and indicates readiness for a claim.
Dominant Derek Hale is determined not to take on a submissive after a deadly mistake in his past. But the Alpha, his uncle Peter, has other ideas. He arranges for Derek to claim Stiles Stilinski, much to Derek's initial dismay. But as soon as he sets eyes on the sassy submissive, all his Dominant urges flare to life and his wolf demands that he claim what belongs to him.
Glorious graphic made by Beth
Chapter 6
Derek lay quietly next to Stiles, watching as his submissive slept. The blindfold hid those magnificent eyes from his view, but Stiles' heartbeat was the slow, steady rhythm of slumber and his body was relaxed. Derek absentmindedly rubbed his boy's back while his mind raced in a whirlwind of thoughts. Guilt and confusion warred with each other as he tried to figure out why Stiles had been hit so hard and so quickly with sub sickness. He had been trying very hard to act within the accepted parameters of an intended (but not yet claimed) couple. It was polite tradition to wait until a claim was legal and cuffs in place before dominating a submissive, and Derek fully intended to do this the right way, even though his wolf had been howling for him to put his boy on his knees from the moment he'd first laid eyes on him. All he had wanted was to be the best first Dom for Stiles that he could be, and in typical fashion had managed to mess it up spectacularly instead.
