bristlefrost didn’t deserve to die so young, and i would have taken her place in a heartbeat if i had been allowed to. but as much as i am grieving for the loss of her all over again, i also couldn’t be more proud. she saved us, all of us, from ashfur. i’m glad that in the end, one of the many cats ashfur hurt the most got rid of him for good, even if she had to take herself down with him and she was my own kid. if she ever reads this, i hope she knows how much i love her and how proud i am of her. we never forgot about her and her sacrifice. she always lived on in our hearts - ivypool #🌿🌙
