The new plan:
Breakfast: Sweet potato smoothie and healthy cherry cobbler (+yogurt if desired)
Lunch: Healthy potato gratin, cabbage salad and watermelon.
Dinner: Chicken, rice, and cucumber with different herbs and citruses.
Before bed: Chamomile green smoothie
U2 was incredible last night. My heart is still full from the experience. The Joshua Tree is one of my favorite albums of all time and hearing it live in its entirety was incredibly moving. The songs are seared indelibly into my subconscious. I sang along to every song, even the ones I forgot I knew. Bono was in fine form. He took us to church. And although I sometimes find him a bit preachy and holier-than-thou, I thought his message of love and unity were exactly what we needed to hear right now in these uncertain times. The set design was amazing. Best use of video I've ever seen in concert. It was artistic and stunning. Everything – the music, the images, the message – came together for me last night. It's easily in the Top 3 greatest concerts I've ever been to. My birthday
My birthday is on the 12th. There's going to be a meteor shower apparently. So even when I'm convinced no one cares there's always a tiny glimmer of hope for a good night. Hopefully it doesn't stay shitty and rainy because that'd be the worst. Fingers crossed I guess.
