oh, we are so back!!! hi, hi, hi! it's my favourite time of year, izzy bingo! for my first drawing, i chose the prompt 'hanahaki'. i must admit, i hadn't heard of it before but it's a beautiful trope. <3

due to a somewhat hectic schedule this october, i've not had much of a chance to get involved with #inktober. however, i didn't want to pass up on the chance to participate in @anacrowley_illu 's fandom tailored list! thank you for letting me get involved with choosing some of the word prompts. so, i decided to base today's art on day 23, red and took inspiration from izzy's calypso's birthday make up. i genuinely adore how this came out! i think it may be my favourite piece to date.

The prompt for today's izzy bingo is...chronic illness! i wanted to visually convey what it feels like to be in the midst of a flare up. how it kind of wraps around you like a sinister presence. although, looking at it now, it's kinda giving 'tentacle', oops. XD
