I don’t know how many turtlewithhat fans are on tumblr but I have so much love for them

Izzy and Emma are a beautiful representation of young lesbian love that is so necessary for people to see

I feel like there isn’t enough lesbian rep in our world especially in today’s society that to see a couple so successful in their relationship and on social media is like a breath of fresh air

I have felt so alone in coming to terms with my sexuality and I have been told that being different is wrong, so to see them be different without thinking twice makes me accept myself a little more

Being a lesbian and knowing that at such a young age is very isolating

I have no lesbian friends and all the people who were lesbians previously have reverted back, saying it was just a phase, which is so harmful to our community

But when I see Izzy and Emma’s content on my feed I feel a little less alone and I feel like I have a chance to live a normal, happy life

I am so grateful to have access to such a wonderful fan base that really makes me feel like I am normal. that I’m not weird for being different. I am just me.
