I hate Seeing Red for a lot of reasons, but the main reason is because it feels like an excuse for a Buffy humilitation ritual

Buffy gets slutshamed by Xander for sleeping with Spike. Xander gets to be all morally righteous and superior.

Then Warren goes on a creepy sexist rant.

Xander plays the hero.

Spike tries to rape Buffy which feels beyond OOC and like something Joss Whedon wrote to screw with James Marsters, Spike fans and shame Buffy. Because how dare Buffy explore her sexuality and be dark?

Xander gets to find Buffy after the whole attempted rape thing and gets to bask in the knowledge that he was right.

Anyway, fuck Joss Whedon for this whole episode.

This scene here where Sanji is protecting Nami with everything he has at Drum Castle is so important. Like the way she's peeking at him over the bed

She's having this big moment of realizing that Sanji is much deeper than she thought. He's been taking care of her for days because he's genuinely worried and not just impress her and that's why he risked his life, climbing the mountain and on top of it all, she knows about his mom so she's discovering Sanji's is much more than she thought he was.

BUT the thing that really does me in in this moment as a sanami shipper is that she's realizing she can trust him the same she does Luffy. Throughout s2 we see that Nami has a faith and trust in Luffy to keep her safe no matter what because he earned that at Arlong Park.

Now here in Drum Castle Sanji is earning that same trust. That's the face of a woman discovering this man will literally go to hell and back to keep her safe and I just can't. Like I'm having too many feelings
