This is the opening track from Japanese duo Hof Brau's "Grinder" tape. The lead singer was the bassist for the Osakan band Debonaire (the self proclaimed first neo-acoustic band of Japan). Toshima-san was very talented, playing everything from the guitar to an Indian Banjo on this tape. His partner, Fukuda-san, is equally talented. She plays the harmonica and harmonium mainly. They met while recording a single for Debonaire.

I really like this song. The halfway point is particularly great. The whole album is very good and I would recommend it. SpiffyFlinger wrote a very detailed and well researched review on its RYM page.

Not the most elegant translation, but I hope it works... Original lyrics can be found here if you would like to scrutinize my work (please do). I didn’t have too much trouble with this, but I did struggle with some of the same phrasings, such as 流れ行く日々を過ごして and 季節は巡り.
