Cancer Benefit for Robert Clark
Robert Clark is a family man who has gone above and beyond for the people around him. Now it's our turn to do it for him. At the beginning of June 2018, he had received news that the symptoms he was suffering for the last year or so was from pancreatic cancer, not from the various excuses he had been handed by doctors over that time. The cancer has moved into his liver, causing more issues and surgery doesn't seem to be an option.
My mother is opting to take him out of state to a care facility (I will update this once I get the name of the facility) in Nashville, TN that specializes in pancreatic cancer treatment as she is getting the run around here with local facilities. We feel it's best to send him there. It should increase his chance of survival since the facility handles a large number of patients seeking treatment for pancreatic cancer.
So far, they are planning on staying with my sister in the area as the facility is an outpatient one and take one of the vehicles once we believe that it is able to handle a drive to Nashville. I would rather put them on a plane but driving might be cheaper. I'm just afraid the car will break down on them.
The funds will be put toward travel, food, lodging, house expenses while they are away, any surprises that may befall them along the way, and anything that will help things go a bit more smoothly than they have been. Thank you for reading and any amount will help. If you can't donate, spreading this around will be appreciated as well.
