I feel like Shipping is Getting Out of Hand

People...in the Supernatural Fandom are at each other throats. It’s just not J2 shippers and Cockles. It’s not just Wincest and Destiel. It’s everyone. So like can we take a step back? Jared, Jensen, and Misha wouldn’t want us to fight. Because of some silly little opinions we have?

Oh, Jared and Jensen are gay. Yeah so, who gives a fuck? Is it gonna change your entire view?

Oh, Jensen and Misha are in a secret romance. No...No...They are not. Neither if J2. Why do people get so fucking invested in celebrities lives? It’s like the same as the British Royal Family. 

Princess Diana? Rember her? When France Papazrazzi chased her into the tunnels and sadly ended her life that night? Leaving two boys without a mother?

Is the same going to happen with Jared and Jensen and Misha? Are we going to chase them to their deaths because of some supposed rumors of secret homosexuality between two men?

Is this what society has come too? Are we going to kill/hurt famous people because we love them so much we want the truth? Is this how far, how dangerous we as human beings on this planet are going to be? We are never going to leave this alone, are we?  Years after Supernatural is over we are still going to think J2 or J2M or JM is in a homosexual relationship...

And I find that wrong. I find it sick. We are just doing the same thing as we did to Princess Diana.

Rabdom 2 part question, you don't have to answer if you don't wan to I'm just curious. 1- are you a tinhat and 2- what do you think of the wives?

hiya love. i don't mind answering at all. i would say that i certainly have tinhat tendencies sometimes, but for me it falls under the fandom umbrella and fandom is for fun so i don’t get too deep into it. i can say that nothing would shock me as far as the js and their private lives go. well, almost nothing, i’d be shocked if one of them turned out to be a serial killer or a russian spy, but otherwise, all options are pretty much equally acceptable/reasonable to me. and it’s none of my business anyway.

i have very close to zero opinion on the wives? i have nothing against them but also i’m not here for them, yanno? i get irked when fandom gives them hate for lame ass shit that literally everyone does (like posting pics of their kids or whatever) but i’m super not here for that ‘yass queen’ business either. basically i regard them as i do most of the moms in my neighborhood- solidarity if you need it, no hate, but let’s never ever interact on a personal level.
