Thinking about jaceron today. Jace, who was the eldest of his family and the heir, and Daeron the youngest of his, heir to nothing, yet they were the same age. Jace with his dark hair and eyes, Daeron with the coloring of a Targaryen. Tessarion being Velaryon blue and Vermax is Hightower green. The black prince and the green prince. One is a natural leader, the other was a follower. Jace died in water, Daeron in fire. Mirrored opposites of each other. Doomed milk brothers who were born into hatred when their births symbolized love and unity.

In the fanon version of f&b, I headcanon that Daeron is his family's sweet boy, the one everyone wants to protect, the one that makes puppy eyes & gets what he wants. So Aegon & Aemond would be super protective of him.

That's why when Daeron says he is in love with his milk brother Jace, they become the biggest jaceron antis.

The same way Jace and Joff want Aemond as far away from their sweet Lucerys as possible.

I finally watched the Red, White & Royal Blue movie and yeah, the dynamic between Alex and Henry is sooo Jaceron coded!!!

The type of rivalry that exists between them since a long time slowly thawing into love. Henry’s (aka Daeron’s) repressed outlook on the relationship because of his family’s more conservative background. Alex’s (aka Jace’s) drive to seek changes in his community because of his humbler (/bastardy) origins. The political tensions at play between Henry/Daeron as a Prince, but lower on the line of succession, and Jace as the First Son of the struggling President (Rhaenyra). Henry spent years at some elite British boarding school (Oldtown!!). Alex is his mother’s key supporter for her political campaign just as Jace was for Rhaenyra. Them having to keep their relationship a secret because they fear the response they might get from those around them (team green/team black). The sneaking around so they don’t get caught!!

Seriously, if you’re a Jaceron shipper, you need to watch this movie. It’s like something that could be straight out of a Jaceron fic (not that there are many Jaceron fics 🥲). Even the characters’ appearances match up.

Princes in a Tower

Lucerys and Jacaerys were captured during the war and placed in a high tower. Their captors are their uncles, Aemond and Daeron. They plan on taking the boys as their own, their pretty little tower wives. No one knows where this tower sits and that is perfect for the two Green dragons who hold their treasure tightly.

If Aemond found out about Criston/Alicent

So I wanted to explore an idea of what would have happened if Aemond found out about his mother sleeping with Criston Cole. In this fic, Alicent and Criston had been sleeping together before Viserys had died.

During the eye incident, Aemond finds out about it while going to his mother for comfort. And it changes how their future goes.

Summary:

Aemond had only wanted comfort from his mother after the traumatic incident of losing his eye. What he did not expect was what he would come across in his mother’s room.

Feeling betrayed by Criston Cole and his mother, he forms new bonds with his sister’s family.
