Jack and Reader have a meet-cute in a bar and end up spending the night together. before leaving Reader gives him her number and Jack promises to call but he never does, his insecurities getting the best of him

weeks go by and Jack can't forget Reader, but now its too late and it would be too awkward to text her so he just mops and gets cranky about it

meanwhile Reader is still upset that Jack never called but working as an on-call medical interpreter at several hospitals across the state makes her schedule too messy to do anything about it (like going to look for him at that same bar), so she just tries to forget him and convinces herself she will never see him again... until the night she is called to attend to a patient in the PTMC ER

Mohabbot Idea!!

So in Season 2, we know that Samira's mother sold her family home that holds all of the memories of her late father. So aside from staying in PTMC for good and work her ass off to distract herself from the fact that her own mother could easily sell her childhood home that held so much memory of her late father, what if she finally dabbles in a sort-of relationship with one Nightshift Attending that had always had eyes on her?

What if when things were finally becoming better both in her career and in her love life, her mother comes to visit with her boyfriend joining along. A huge ass wedding ring also included.

What's even worse is when she finally meets the mystery boyfriend and she comes face to face with an all too familiar sad hazel eyes and the fact that her mother's boyfriend also just so happens to be the father of her boyfriend, Jack Abbot, And there was a big fat chance that he will now become her step-brother in the process.

Could Samira's life get any worse?

...feels she constantly needs to prove her worth and secure her position on the team even though she already is a well respected officer

...has had a crush on Jack for a while but hides her feelings and pretends not to like him, fearing both judgment and rejection, so her solution is to keep her distance and treat him as professionally as possible

...risks her life to protect Jack during an operation and pretends she’s fine afterward because she's afraid of letting him touch her

…ends up in the ER a few days later due to a poorly treated gunshot wound only to find herself being treated by...

Jack who...

...is pissed off because he doesn't understand why Reader (who always seemed to dislike him) would risk herself for him, only to refuse his help and end up in his ER with injuries he could have treated

...decides it’s time to set things right between them

or, where Jack finds himself more worried than he thinks he should be and is willing to keep Reader in the ER until he they have a proper talk
