Uncle Jack Charles has always been one of my favourite actors in big part because he reminds me so much of my pop in his mannerisms. After my pop died suddenly a few years ago, I get v emotional (mostly just happy melancholy) watching Uncle Jack cos I'm glad to be reminded. But I had to take a wee pause watching Preppers because there's this scene where Charlie (Nakkiah Lui) complains to Uncle Jack's character that things aren't fair and he laughs and says, "fair as a Blakfellas bum" and I legit burst into tears cos my pop used to say that all the time and i hadn't heard anyone around me say that since he died 🥺 pleaseee, stream Preppers on ABC iview and support media made by Blakfellas for Blakfellas!!!
QUARTERFLASH - Harden My Heart
I could ask the same question that Leonard Cohen poses to Hank in Tower Of Song. I too would await his response.
