Dan the Weatherman, which is in redevelopment, recast two key roles

Canadian broadcaster Bell Media has finalized a deal with Sony for L.A.’s Finest, the Bad Boys offshoot starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba which was rejected by NBC, for a thirteen-episode series order; Sony is still in serious negotiations with Charter Communications to be the U.S. broadcaster of the series (source)

The cancellation of ABC’s comedy Roseanne has possibly reopened the door for one of their rejected comedy pilots (if it were to happen, How May We Hate You and Steps are considered the top contenders); this may also mean Schooled, the Goldbergs-spinoff, will be moved up from midseason

Tangentially, ABC is in predevelopment for a spin-off of The Middle
