Again with the Jackson-Is-Peter’s-Son Theory you’ve got Kate being a sick fuck admitting she likes very underaged boys compared to a boy who already looks like Peter and ergo Derek, who Kate already seduced read: raped at sixteen
Additionally-yeah same Allison why is Kate such a fucked up insane piece of shit? Hate to pull this out but I don’t wanna hear anyone admiring her in any way shape or form considering that she would be public enemy number one if the genders here were reversed
On May 12th, 2022, Miko, Malia, Callie and the rest of their class are gathered at Lupus Luna Academy Prep for their Graduation.
Epilogue: Six Years Later
> Dad?
> What's wrong?
Peter can tell his son is stressed and wants to help.
Miko gestures to his tie.
> This is so stupid. I should be able to tie a tie by now. I'm eighteen years old!
Peter chuckles and gestures for him to come closer. With a sigh Miko does and Peter quickly but efficiently gets it tied for him.
> Don't be so hard on yourself, Miko. You'll get it. Just keep practicing.
Miko smiles and pulls on his jacket.
> How do I look?
> Very handsome. Are you ready?
Miko shrugs one shoulder.
> Yes, and no? I'm super mega nervous, Dad.
Peter nods and places his hand on his son's shoulder, giving it a firm squeeze of reassurance.
> I'd be more worried if you weren't, but you can do this. More than can, you will do this, and you will do an amazing job.
> You'll be there right, Dad?
> As if I would miss it. This is one of the biggest days of a person's life, Miko. I'll be right there to cheer you on.
> You promise?
Peter nods and lets out a soft 'oof' when he gains a koala as his son hugs him. Miko pulls away and jogs out of the room throwing a huge smile over his shoulder. As he disappears, Peter nods. Yes. He'll do just fine.

On May 12th, 2022, Miko, Malia, Callie and the rest of their class are gathered at Lupus Luna Academy Prep for their Graduation. Miko is Valedictorian. Malia and Jackson tied for Salutatorian. It wasn't surprising that Jackson transferred to the private school with his siblings when they started high school. It actually made a lot of sense, and he did much better there than he had at the public school. Peter often wonders what that says about the public school system as a whole.
As Miko steps up to the podium, Stella cheers and stands up, waving at her brother. She's now thirteen and still her brother's biggest fan.
Miko takes a deep breath, makes eye contact with his teachers and begins signing his speech. It is completely silent as everyone has their eyes and ears on him.
> Fourteen years ago, I experienced the worst two months of my life but one day in particular was the worst of those. Fourteen years ago, I experienced the best day of my life. The difference between the worst and the best is which one I allowed to affect me. See it would have been easy to let the worst day change me for the worst, but I didn't. I didn't because at four years old I was sent an angel though he'll probably tell you he's more demon than angel but he's only half lying.
The audience laughs and Peter blushes with a grin on his face. Miko winks at all the smiles and continues.
> From the moment Peter Hale came into my life that day fourteen years ago, I have been upheld by him, Malia, Jackson, Talia, Marie and of course the most beautiful girl in the world. Right here.
He gestures to his right where Zuri is sitting and smiles when she perks up at the cooing he can tell people are doing as they smile. He chuckles softly and continues.
> I never had to learn what it was like to face things alone. I never had to learn what it was like to be without a home, family, safety or love. I had all of these things and more. Nine years ago, I was legally adopted and although they had already been my family before that, it was there in black and white. Malia and Jackson are my sister and my brother. Peter is my father. Talia is my aunt. Marie is my mother and Bridget is my grandma. I have a family and they've never let me feel like I was anything less than family regardless of blood relation. They held me through my nightmares, panic attacks and tears. They encouraged me, supported me and pushed me to be my best.
He wipes his face a bit, the tears falling but he keeps going and doesn't fight the feelings.
> I was given every opportunity to succeed, learn, thrive and grow to my full potential. I know that I would not be here today, standing up here and giving this speech without so many people and the love they have shown me for as long as I have known them.
Miko takes a moment to center himself and looks around at his peers.
> We are blessed in our lives to have people who look out for our best interests even when we wish they didn't, or we think that we know better. There will always be someone to listen, someone to offer a hug and well you guys know I always have hugs even if I can't listen very well and no that's not cause I'm deaf. It's just because I am a big talker. Hence why my hands are always moving.
Another rumble of laughter goes through the crowd, and it loosens the knot in Miko's chest.
> Today marks the end of this chapter of our lives. After today we will go out into the world and shoot for our dreams. Some of us have wanted to be the president, a teacher, a doctor or a lawyer. Others of us have wanted to play in the NBA, be a singer or participate in the Olympics. Whatever we choose to do, we will do with everything we have because that's what makes us who we are. The fire and determination to push past the obstacles and limitations others put upon us. The perseverance we show every time we fall because we get back up and keep going.
Once again, he looks at his peers and their families as well as his own. His smile grows even bigger when he meets Ms. Hartman's gaze.
> Take a look around you, Class of 2022. This is the future of our country, and I can't wait to see what all of you will do with the fire inside your hearts, dreams inside your minds and what you will create with the passion in your hands. Remember to always keep fighting. Remember that you are enough, and you are never alone. You are loved and you will all go far. Congratulations everyone!
"We d'd it!" he crows with a carefree smile on his face.
Everyone stands and applauds. There's no sound because they don't clap. Instead, they raise their hands and shake their hands back and forth to show applause.

After the ceremony ends and the students have retrieved their caps, Miko makes his way over to his parents with his arm around the waist of his girlfriend, Callie. She's smiling fondly at him and it's easy to see how much she loves him. Miko looks at her the same way and places a kiss on her forehead as they walk. They have been dating since their sophomore year of high school but have been best friends since they were six years old.
Malia is using her boyfriend Kylar as a pack mule but the smile on his face says he truly doesn't mind. Jackson's girlfriend Carmen is cuddled into his side and Jackson is red faced as she whispers in his ear.
Meanwhile, Peter has a toddler on one hip and is holding the hand of another little girl. His eyes never leave his three eldest as they reach the shaded place where the rest of the Hales are waiting for them.
Stella immediately throws herself at her brother and pushes up on her tiptoes to kiss his cheek.
> I'm so proud of you.
Miko blushes and smiles, pulling away from Callie long enough to hug his sister. Callie holds onto Zuri's leash for him as he does.
Stella pulls back and looks at Callie who smiles and holds out her arms for a hug. Of course, the offer is accepted with a huge smile. After her brother, Callie is Stella's favorite person, though Peter is a close second. Stella just loves how Callie never fails to make Miko smile.

Bridget smiles at the family of which she is the matriarch. She watches her children, Peter and Talia and Peter's wife Marie. Her eyes then fall on her grandchildren Malia, Jackson and Miko. Her eyes flick over to the significant others of her grandchildren, Kylar, Carmen and Callie. Callie is exactly who and what Miko needs in a partner. The same can be said for Kylar in regard to Malia and for Carmen in regard to Jackson.
A grin forms on Bridget's face as she watches young Stella talking animatedly to her brother about their plans for the upcoming summer vacation. Miko is smiling with his arm around Callie's waist once more. His body is completely relaxed and he's so at ease with her in a way he never is with anyone else except Peter.
It's a blessing that he was placed into their care and care for him they have. They always will care for the young man. The youngest of the Hale family are Cassie and Karlie, Peter and Marie's girls. They are seven and three respectively and it's heartwarming to watch them as they hang off their daddy. They both sport shy smiles as they listen to Stella.
Peter is so very proud of his family and his children, especially the ones heading off to college this coming August. He does have his worries especially about Miko, but he knows the boy–now young man–will thrive. After all he has faced there is no doubt in Peter's mind about how successful Miko will be. It is who he is.
Miko and Callie will be attending White Oak University in Virginia. Jackson, Carmen, Malia and Kylar are attending Amber Willow University just an hour north of where Miko and Callie will be. They've already gotten housing squared away for all of them.
Talia and Peter had been trying to decide what to do about housing when their mother swooped in and took care of everything.
The entire Hale family (including the boyfriend and girlfriends of the teens) will be traveling to Italy for the summer before they send the teens off to college. It'll be Miko's second time on a plane since he went home with Peter but he's not worried. He knows he'll be okay.
They all say their goodbyes to all their classmates and head home where they are holding a huge barbecue and bonfire to celebrate their graduation. Miko ends up with a new laptop and he can barely stop his hands from shaking long enough to thank his parents.
Malia and Jackson don't use their computers as much, but they get them anyway as their parents assure them they will want them when they get started in their courses.
By the time they've eaten, and all the gifts are open, the sky is bright with stars. The whole family is lounging on various blankets and furniture pieces on the back patio as they look up, pointing out various constellations. Miko is on the hammock with Callie's head on his chest, their bodies aligned. Their fingers are laced together, and his lips are resting against her hair. It's perfect, it's family and Miko has never been happier.

After they got back from their vacation the teens were each surprised with a new car. Malia got a. She nearly fainted when she saw it. Jackson got a sleek black and he did faint when he saw it. Last but not least Miko was given a red. He simply slumped to the ground in awe. They had each pointed out in theory what cars they wanted if they could get one and here, they were with exactly what they asked for. That day was amazing and each of them got to try them out for the first time. Miko's first trip was to take Callie out on a date.
It's now the end of summer and it's scary how fast time went. Malia, Jackson, Carmen and Kylar left earlier last week for school and today is when Miko and Callie head out.
Miko pulls Peter into a hug after shutting the trunk of his car. Callie is in the passenger seat and Miko has the keys clasped tightly in his hands.
Peter hugs his son back just as fiercely, struggling to let him go. He would much rather take him inside where he can keep Miko safe, but Peter knows he can't do that no matter how much he wants to. It's time for his son to spread his wings and become all he has always been meant to be.
Slowly Miko pulls from the hug and scrubs at his face. Amber eyes meet Peter's as Miko signs.
> I was broken. I thought I had no one. Then you showed up and took me home. My very own guardian angel.
> I thought I was only half angel.
Peter quirks a brow making Miko snort.
> Maybe a third.
His smile is bright, and his eyes are full of mischief. Then he continues.
> I was family, and I didn't even know it. Now look at me.
He chuckles wetly.
> Here I am heading off to college with a gorgeous girlfriend and a full ride. I couldn't have done it without you, Dad.
Peter clears his throat, swallowing with a click.
> You did all the hard work. I only helped a bit.
Miko gives him an unimpressed look that turns serious.
> N-O-N-E. None. None of this would have been possible without you. You are my dad.
Peter tears up as Miko keeps going.
> You. Are. My. Dad. Mine. I love you so much.
> I love you too kiddo.
> I love you to the moon and back times infinity.
Peter has no words but shakily signs back.
> I love you, my little Miko. I always have and I always will.
They embrace again, neither of them wanting to let go but they do and Miko gets in the car. He kisses, rolls his window down and peeks back at his dad.
With a smile they both bring their right hands up. They keep their pinkies, pointer fingers, and thumbs out while bending their middle and ring fingers to say, I love you.
Then Peter is waving as Miko drives away with Zuri's head popping out the side window, her tongue lolling out happily. Off they go towards the horizon and toward a future Miko never would have had if not for Peter and the Hales.
"Just wait, world," Peter whispers as the jeep fades from view. "I guarantee you won't know what to do when the brightest star and most clever fox, Miko Petyr Hale, takes you by storm."
