Lovers to Enemies AU: And there was Jack before her, tainted with his victims' blood, and looking ready than ever to continue his bloodshed if it were not for her interruption. He analyzed her then as he wiped his mouth, feeling the slice on his cheek. If he had dodged her incoming attack at the last minute, it would have been a lot messier. But just as she got better, so did he. For her. And yet here she was, screaming at him to stop this madness, and if he won't, then she'll end it for him. Such a shame, really, that they both fell into the cliché of a hero and a villain. But if being a villain meant he could find a way to save Rapunzel from her end as foretold in that ridiculous prophecy, then by god, so a villain Jack shall be.
