i looove the chan family because they all love jade so much. watching the episode where she got stuck in the demon world was so so nice. uncle cried when he thought there was nothing they could do to save her, jackie was desperate to jump to action to do something to save her, tohru wished it was him who got trapped instead. on top of that, they trust her smarts and that she can survive on her own until they help her. i looove love love love the chan family they are so close and love each other so much!! ^_^ <3

it's also just really cute that jackie tells her not to tag along but she does anyway, and he literally just doesn't get mad at her. the only thing he says is "jade! i told you to stay home!" and then he gets saved by her multiple times. so so so kawaii, they all help each other and depend on each other and i love them so very much! >_<

and also jackie believing jade in that alternate dimension where he got his memories erased, despite it sounding incredibly weird and impossible for his mind. ohhhhh i love you jackie. you love your niece very much!!

My lockdown Jackie Chan Adventures comic is now on AO3!

During the pandemic I was lucky enough to be furloughed on 80% pay. One of the (many) hobbies I took on was drawing a comic as tribute to one of my all-time favourite childhood cartoons - Jackie Chan Adventures. It didn't get finished but it was a fun little project while it lasted, and it's now on AO3 rather than just festering in a forgotten corner of DA: https://archiveofourown.org/works/80340226

Rated suitable for all - I wanted to capture the spirit of the original show ... but with a bit of a modern twist as the cartoon is around 20 years old XD

Ways to approach the poll if the character isn’t a royal:

If you think they’d be from a smaller house, go with the Great House that that smaller house is sworn to (ex: House Manderly —> vote Stark)

They don’t have to be a nobleperson, they can be someone working for the house or being ruled by them. Roles could be a sworn-sword, a septa, a butcher, a blacksmith, or even a lowly peasant.

You can consider the region itself. For example, if you feel the character would be from Dorne, pick House Martell.

You can consider the personality of the character. For example, if your character is all about honor, then consider either House Arryn or House Stark.

Last, but not least, be creative with it! For example, there was a comment I read that the character who was the subject of the poll would be pulling a Littlefinger, so they went with either Lannister or Tyrell as that would be that character’s target houses.
