I just bought a new phone, so, as tradition dictates, I drew myself a new phone case image. The phone's mint green, so I decided I'd draw Jade, but not have any color on her hair, and let the phone's color be her hair color!

Top image is with a flat mint green over her hair, second image is with transparent hair, and the bottom four are the rejected sketches while I was deciding on a design.

This might have been the most difficult mini I've painted so far. It's a metal sculpt, and as you can see most of its weight is up top. It's heavy, too... heavy enough it fell off my painting handle and broke apart.

I was so disappointed, I almost didn't come back to fix it. But the new BT novel, Without Question, dropped this week; I knew I had to do something to commemorate the reborn Jade Falcons. Like the Phoenix it's named after, what better gesture than a reborn 'Mech? From the ashes we rise!

Anyways, its mass aside, this is a beautiful sculpt. I actually squealed when I saw the detailing inside the PPC barrels. This may end up being one of my favorite minis!

I’ll try to upload things at the same time as other platforms. Here’ one of the concepts I’ve been workin this past month. A cardinal goddess from my project world setting. Mitsûru is the Goddess of the Winds and patron of travelers and messengers.

I want to add I took a lot of inspiration from Okami and a bunch of Ukiyo-e in general.
