Formal clarification of proper bread storage procedures:
White or wheat loaf, storebought, mass produced: ignore all tapes/ties/clips. Spin bag and tuck underneath.
Bakery breads (Rounded loaf): ignore all tapes, and most clips. Spin bag, tie with twist tie closed, then tuck underneath.
Bakery breads (Everything else) / Homemade: eat them all at once you goddamn coward. Store only as carbs inside your body. No crumbs left unconsumed.
Bakery breads can be frozen for later use IF the loaf is whole (if pre-sliced, ensure as little bread innards as possible is exposed to the cold).
Stale breads can be used in various stale- bread- friendly recipes. Should NOT be fed to birds.
And THAT is proper packaged-bread procedure.
(Na'an, pita, tortillas, and similar items fall under the "leave no survivors"/ immediately consume every speck category)
