Yo Chuck. I'm learning Spanish for the first time this semester - I took latin throughout hs. Was just wondering if you had any tips?

spanish is more simple and similar to english than they're going to tell you. most of it tends to operate on the SVO system, just like english! it wont always be correct, but dont be afraid to just throw together a sentence in the order that feels right in your anglophone heart and say it -- as you get a better grasp on the language, your ability to form sentences the Proper Way will improve, but early in the process it's way more about vocab

most of those pesky "irregular" verbs are actually just part of a different, secret, pattern . not all of them . but most. dont get scared by them <3

conjugation is easy. it's so easy. look at me. it's not worth it to memorize the difference between how ar ir and er work individually. you'll waste brain space -- remember how they all work in unity!

related: the degree sign is your best friend for quick notes ok? when a vowel changes depending on the stem, hit it with the a° (ex. o, a°s, a°, a°mos, a°n)

if your teacher doesn't explain how to know when a letter needs an accent, please look it up! it will help so much (quicktime though: it's just the stressed letter)

if you dont know a word, read it out loud. you dont know how many times ive been reading a book and gone "what is that word?" only to google it and go "fuck that's a cognate" (most recently it happened with aislado .... >_> )

okay okay late answer but here we go.

the series is called mianite, but that’s technically shorthand for “realm of mianite”. mianite is the name of their land/world, loosely, at least that’s how the season 1 lands are commonly referred to.

mianite, however, is also a god. the god of the overworld, order, and creation. he has two siblings: dianite and ianite. dianite is the god of the nether, chaos, and destruction. ianite is the goddess of the end, justice, and balance!

William winced, hearing the Ashe’s words cut through his thoughts.

He’d come to his realm to sulk after fucking up another timeline.

…Well. “the Ashe” is probably not what he should be using anymore, considering this is the one he’ll be stuck with through however many more timelines there’ll be. Just “Ashe” now, he guesses.

“I am well aware I suck at this, thank you.” William said, turning to face Ashe. Ashe had switched to an outfit more like their hero costume from the first timeline, with the book by their side and the clock necklace around their neck. “...I see you figured out the appearance thing already.”

“...Is that important?” Ashe fidgeted with their sleeve.

“N… No, I just…” William trailed off into muttered gibberish.

“W-Whatever, uh… So, have you tried things other than murder?”

“Wh— Of course I fucking tried things other than murder; it took me a good few timelines to resort to that! Shouldn't you know that??”

“Oh, well sorry my cross-timeline memory recall isn’t perfect!” Ashe crossed their arms.

“Well I don’t know what it’s like for other people!” William’s eyes landed on the clock necklace as he glanced around. The hour hand was moving way faster than an hour per hour.

...Shit, we don’t have much time here, do we, he thought.

“...What??”

“Uh… Just, as a warning, uh… When the necklace hits twelve, it fucking hurts.”

“It already hurts, the fucking ticking—”

“Yeah, yeah, that sucks, but dude it’s like absolutely worse, okay, we can’t stay here much longer.” William shuffled his hands nervously. “Also there should be like, an impending sense of doom and that you have to do something to change the time when it gets near twelve.”

“I already have that.”

“Yeah that’s ‘cause it’s ticking REAL fast!”

“Why do you care!? What does it matter to you if I get hurt??”

“Wh—” William took a step back. “‘Cuz that’d be— Completely antithetical to my whole goal!”

“...What?!”

“I—!...” I’m doing this to save you. “...I need to get going.”

“Wait, no the fuck you don’t—” Ashe reached out to grab William—

And it all disappeared in a flash of red light, as the clock ticked back to 0.

simon and klavier and seb knew eachother in school. they were all in theatre together :-)

Klavier takes VERY good care of his motorbike. liek VERY good care of it. its his baby and if it ever gets scratched god help whoever did it he Will scream.

sorry this is getting rambly but i think we don't talk ab how his key chain is literally a heart. one of the keys says Gorl. i love him and i think he should be president tbh.
