Vaalete was anxious of her surroundings. The maze was hard. They ran over few traps and she was almost bitten by a snake one morning, waking up facing the cold blooded animal. Guilt tormented her along all of their path. They didn't talk much. She was too tired most of the time and she preferred to keep to her thoughts while her eyes scanned the soil and plants, everything this maze provided her, so she could start combining chemical equations in her kind. So she could do as she promised Jae, Septia, Malareene, Charmica, Kern... She didn't want to disappoint them all. Especially not Jae. Her ring felt heavier then it should at evening when they laid on the rough ground and she buried her face in his chest they smelled like home. She could feel his tracking device in his arm. Something to get rid of of too When they reached the end it has been four days. They lived on air and leaves, and on each others' energy. When she saw the Cournocopia she felt stronger and pulled their tight and laced hands, being welcomed by a painful buzz of electricity through her body. So when the walls fell, she felt like she was running for paradise. She kept their fingers trapped even without the rope. She got a bow with about 20 arrows and shot at people who tried to hurt Jaedgar, accidentally shooting at the 7 male tribute. Most were away fast. When she was retreating she felt a sharp cut in her leg and she had to run as fast as she can to escape with the weapon, a giant backpack that hardly staid on her tiny shoulders, as well as a bag of apples and a bottle of water. She ran south, keeping away from the tall grass around them, afraid of what might be hiding in it. She could hear Jaedgar behind her when an arrow flew and hit the same leg that was already injured. The brunette fell on the rocks that were giving way after the grass. She cried out in pain as she looked up.
