What Must I Do to Be Saved?
30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. 32 And they spoke {spake} unto him the word of the LORD, and to all that were in his house. 33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, immediately {straightway}.

Notes: In Acts 16:30-33, the Philippian jailer, after witnessing the earthquake and the miraculous release of Paul and Silas from prison, asks them, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" Paul and Silas respond, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household." They then share the word of the Lord with him and his family. The jailer, in turn, washes their wounds and he and his entire household are baptized immediately.
