Since you drew Jake Windsnap with dreadlocks (I think), do you imagine he ever styles or decorates them?
Yes!
Jake makes jewelry, and he's a creative. It certainly seems something that he'd love doing. I bet he does Emily's hair sometimes too.
If I had a nickel for every time a merman marries a human, has a happy family with kids, and doesn't die, all while staying as a merman, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

I wonder how many Merfolk before Jake and Beeston also pretended to be human. How would they do that? Especially in the days before Internet and before many humans knew how to swim.
