Hi dude I like your Jassandra idea 'not get serious with anyone else and stay single forever'. I'm big fan of Jassandra ( even death don't stop me for shipping them ) but no one knows what the future will bring. Well, of course, I fingers crossed for jassandra canon.

honestly 3x08 ruined the librarians big time for me (and how badly they handled cass's tumor and magic debate) like last year i was practically dying for s3 and now, you bet im excited, but not in the way i used to be..it sucks. i just want jassandra to go back to their s2 relationship at least, all flirty and couple-y, they are a pretty big reason i love the show and not only bc of the ship but as separate characters they seemed to be OOC towards each other last season

exactlyyyy.Like, the librarians is a stress-free light-hearted FUN show. So I’m going to look for cute moments and not expect too much on the shipping front. we’ve got mom and dad aka fleve and that’s fine. then we’ve got hints of jassandra, which tbh, i almost missed in season 1... 

and honestly if they want to just keep building up that friendship and the vague underlying possible romantic tension, that’s fine. I am happy to “pay attention” to jassandra and read between the lines based on the canon we get. If the show wants to hint at it and let us dream of it, but ultimately chooses to steer away from any serious LIT canon-shipping on the show (because it’s not a drama ship-centric show) that’s fine. i’m okay with not having cold, hard canon confirmation. Like 3x03... &the Reunion of Evil was amazing. AH-MAZING.

but for goodness sake, don’t try to taint or steal or disregard those breadcrumbs we DO get. It’s one thing if jake or cassie get hit on by another person and think “oh what a nice person, maybe I might like them” that’s borderline fine. (that could even be used to spark jealousy, see &the City of Light). 

but when cassie was.... i can’t even type it... in &the Eternal Question.... chasing after jenkins.... was.. so weird... not only as a jassandra shipper and not only because it was within the librarian group. but especially because it just tainted all their previous interactions to the point that I don’t even want to rewatch the show now because the cute father/daughter--or even grandfather/granddaughter (think of Richard and Rory on Gilmore Girls)--that bondthat they had is messed up for me completely and i kinda hope they never share a scene together again. EWWWW. 

and yeah, the removal of her tumour was handled poorly. and unless they want to come up with an explanation for how surgery became an option suddenly, they disregarded canon which seemed to indicate fairly clearly that it was inoperable (especially since Cassie had a freaking day picked out for her own death...like that’s really freaking dark for a tumor that’s operable).

jakexcassie but isnt it like a trope? when two characters are like NO WE ARENT TOGETHER and then later they are dating,ive seen it so many times and then there's how lindy said the two clearly have attraction. not trying to be rude or anything btw!

Yeah, but there’s a difference between a flustered “They aren’t my boyfriend/girlfriend” and an emphatic “NO NO EW NO”. Also, maybe this is just me, but if you are actually interested in someone I wouldn’t think you’d want to pretend to be siblings, y’know? Even the first time I saw it I was reminded of that scene in Doctor Who when The Doctor and Donna were in Pompeii, and when asked if they were dating there were very emphatic that they weren’t, and then the person they were talking to went “oh, you’re siblings, that makes sense” and they were like “yeah that’s it we’re brother and sister”.

...so, yeah, sometimes a no is actually a no.

I’m not trying to be rude either, but I’m not really interested in debating this with you. You do you and enjoy the ship, while I’ll be over here happily hating it~

Turn Left theory

okay now im confused because how can turn left happen after the stolen earth if after the events in turn left rose reunited with the doctor and met tentoo….or am i being dumb lol

my theory was that everything Rose says in the TARDIS in JE (about timelines converging on Donna, etc.) was probably known to them during/prior to the first few meetings with Donna in Turn Left, meaning that it was entirely possible that while searching for the Doctor they came across Donna and found out about the timelines converging on her. 

Of course, that might not be entirely accurate. However, most of my theory was based on the fact that Rose seemed to know a lot about Donna- winning the lottery and why she should get away for Xmas, what the Doctor thought of Donna, Wilf having a telescope etc. While the whole 'winning the lottery' thing was probably where Torchwood could measure her timeline, stuff like Wilf having a telescope seems odd for Rose to know. It's an alternate timeline- Wilf might have sold the telescope, and even if he hadn't, where are they getting this information? Can they access this strange alternate timeline to gain information? Seems unlikely, and so i thought about them using that universe's Donna, but again Rose was a dog, so Donna might not exist. The only person who could tell Rose what Donna was like and what the Doctor thought of her is the Doctor himself- aka tentoo. So if Turn Left (or, at least parts of Turn Left) happen after JE, then they have tentoo to tell them all about Donna.

Also, the theory is relying on the idea that the gaps between universe might have not fully closed immediately, giving Rose and Pete’s World Torchwood a window of maybe a day (or a few days) to do the jumps, one after the other until Donna dies in the car accident- that would also account for Rose wearing the same clothes, if the whole thing happens over a period of 24-48 hours for Rose.

Like I said, parts of it might be entirely wrong, but it just seems the most logical answer to me that Rose would get the information about Donna from tentoo- after all, he's part Donna.

6- ghost stories :)

It was a Friday and Cassandra was in the midst of dressingfor a date with her boyfriend when said boyfriend called her.

There was certain amount of regret in his voice, "sorrydarlin' but we've got a case."

"Well, occupational hazard I guess," Cassandrasighed setting aside the dress she was going to wear. "What's thecase?"

"We're investigating a ghost sighting at Dalhousie Castlein Scotland."

"Aren't ghost stories Ezekiel's department?"Cassandra frowned, suddenly a little put out. This sounded like a plan by Jonesto keep her and Stone from their anniversary dinner.

"Yeah, well, he's off in Turkey or something. Besides,we all know they're never ghosts.  But,Cassie?"

"Yeah?"

"We're gonna have to do a little undercover blendingin, so dress up. And pack a bag, we might need to stay overnight to see thehaunting."  Stone's voice on thelast sounded like he was rolling his eyes which made her giggle.

"Well, okay I can wear the dress I was gonna weartonight then."

"I'm real sorry, I'll make it up to you. I was lookin'forward to this date too. But you get to see the suit anyway."

"Well, we'll make the most of it. See you in afew."

Cassandra had to admit that Dalhousie Castle was exceedinglyromantic as they entered via a side room and mingled in with people attending aparty.  But two things were botheringher.  No one seemed upset or curious likeshe expected a haunted place to be.  Ofcourse, haunted castles in Europe were more a tourist curiosity than anythingelse so maybe people were just used to the tales?  And Jacob seemed nervous.  Which was very odd given that it was neverghosts and he was usually up for anything. He parted from her for a moment, saying he wanted to ask a question of awitness. That was odd too as they usually worked together.  He'd asked her to look at a painting forclues but again . . .  that was hisdepartment.  A few moments later he cameback and took her hand.

"Alright, I have a location for the latest sighting, solet's go check it out.  That's themanager, he's gonna let us in."

They walked a ways into what was the hotel part of thecastle.  Cassandra didn't really questionit, it wasn't like ghosts or other magical beings were beyond hanging out inguest rooms.   She did find it slightly odd when she sworeshe saw Jacob hand the manager some cash as he turned and left them. Thoughevery once in a while, they did have to bribe someone, the Library's magicdidn't always work.

They were standing in a beautiful suite. Candles were lit ona table and there were roses and champagne. Were they in someone's room? But Cassandra's eyes started to widen asshe looked around the room and back to Jacob. He was looking at her, not forclues.  They weren't in someone's room.

"Jacob?" she asked softly. "There aren't anyghosts are there?"

"No," he shook his head. "Jenkins helped meplan a romantic weekend as surprise. That's why I had you pack."

"Wow, this is gorgeous, Jacob!" she grinned indelight spinning around.

"There's one more thing," Jacob took something outof his jacket pocket. She stopped spinning to look and gasped when she realizedit was a small box.  He opened it to showoff an antique square diamond ring. "Will you marry me, Cassandra?"

Cassandra squealed, arms around his neck.  There would have been hesitation a year agowhen they started dating. But she knew him, knew this was real and for as longas their forever was.  "Yes, yes Iwill."
