2P Canada Dating Headcanons
🐻❄️ First and formost, you are lucky to even have his affection in the first place (but we've already established this in his general headcanons).
🐻❄️ James can be unnervingly protective over his partner. It's not anything that outwardly affect their day to day life persay, but some people may go entirely quiet on them because of him.
🐻❄️ He'll take you for long hikes, holding your hand tightly just in case you slip. He'll carry you if you can't walk the way back (or all the way to where he's wanting to stop and turn around at).
🐻❄️ He has trouble with expressing his emotions with you. He'll try his best, but sometimes he just shuts down just trying to figure it out. He finds it extremely frustrating. (He can express when you make him angry very easily though, he can talk about that pretty easily while staying calm on the surface.) He won't always be able to understand your feelings either and ask a lot of questions even when it's clear that you may be overloaded or distressed.
🐻❄️ I'm sorry but he's going to be staring blankly at you a lot. (It looks like he studying you, and he low key sort of is, but he also just likes to look at you and it just can come off wrong.)
🐻❄️ His love languages are: acts of service and quality time
🐻❄️ If you reference an internet meme, he will sort of stop whatever he's doing to try to figure out what you meant. He barely uses the internet to begin with if it's not for research or work. Please just explain the meme to him before he makes the wrong assumption.
🐻❄️ Let's be honest, he's a dry texter most of the time, he's going to ask you where you are, what you're thinking about, or send you pictures of scenery from hikes and baby animals (and sometimes of Kuma doing something weird). You could send him a wall of text and he'd send back one sentence. You really just have to call him or talk to him in person to get longer interactions. (Unless you send him a meme, then you get hit with the block of text that translates to 'what the fuck am I looking at?' and a indepth explanation of what he thinks it means. Correct him.)
🐻❄️ If you say you like something, he remembers it and will end up buying it for you at some point. (This is something Oliver taught him.)
🐻❄️ You will end up meeting his brother at some point, and he wouldn't be very happy if you two didn't get along or at least tolerate each other. The thought that his two favorite people couldn't get along might actually fry his brain as well as piss him off. If you do get along though, he's very happy, these is one of the moments you could get a genuine smile out of him (take a picture, take a picture, take a picture!)
🐻❄️ Talks about you to Oliver and Allen. (and François on the very rare occurance that they have the nerve to contact each other.) Everyone's happy for him, which he feels good about. Outside of that, he tells no one his business.
🐻❄️ He rarely talks about his family outside of Allen, if you ask about his brother he can talk about him for hours. If you talk about your family positively, he'll listen but won't be able to relate outside of direct sibling relationships.
🐻❄️ He'll behave around your family but he does act a bit bitter after he gets home (if it was all positive interactions), but he won't explain why outside of a simple "I didn't have that sort of dynamic with my family growing up". (He doesn't think of it as jealousy or envy, but that's exactly what it is.) He behaves himself around your family regardless, but he won't really feel much of a connection with them for a while.
🐻❄️ He'll try to smile if you take pictures of him, but forcing it makes it look a little awkward. (Not that he isn't still cute! The pictures are still going to be nice, he just needs to be able to controll his eyebrows.)
🐻❄️ He's not subtle when he's jealous, he may literally give whoever's flirting with you a death stare while hugging you from behind. Most people aren't dumb enough to persist, and you may be dragged back the car at that point (he doesn't want to allow himself to get so angry that he might catch a murder charge outside of hunting poachers.) He'll pretend like nothing happened after the person finally leaves you two alone, but he'll be bugged about it for a while even if you talk to him about it.
🐻❄️ He'll have periods of time where he just doesn't feel 'ok' and self isolates himself further than usual. If you come over you can see that something's off with him, but he'll never be quite able to explain why. If you stick around to try to comfort him, he'll be confused at first but eventually settle down and accept whatever affection you have to give at the moment.
🐻❄️ He'll still mess around with you like when you'd been friends, but it's a hell of a lot less 'brotherly' than it'd been before. He'll just want to hang around you a lot longer than he'd had back then. (When your best friend is your partner sort of stuff.)
🐻❄️ This is not the sort of guy you could ever break up with over text. Trust me, you don't want to try that.
2P! Hetalia doodles... Errmm, I gotta do the rest of the cast now (I keep procrastinating 😭) I also did the traditional stuff in class instead of paying attention whoops
For [Deleuze], truth is a matter of irresolvable problems. The greatest truths are those expressing those problems in all their aspects and applications, avoiding the dangerous illusions of false simple solutions. True thinking is to respond to problems in new ways, to re-invigorate life and thought through the problems that give rise to them: ‘What is essential is that there occurs at the heart of problems a genesis of truth, a production of the true in thought.’
James Williams, Gilles Deleuze's Difference and Repetition: A Critical Introduction and Guide
