I'm currently rereading Harry Potter and the COS; and I loved being reminded that the vanishing cabinet, that was so important in the last book, was destroyed by Peeves after being asked to do so by Nearly Headless Nick in order to get Harry out of Filch's office without detention ❤️

Ahhh yes!! One of my favourite things about Harry Potter is the littler details in earlier books being brought back as major plot points in later books!! :D
