-i think jonathan would be a stay at home dad (they have one daughter, girl dad jonathan is real) he would still do freelance work like photography and stuff but i dont think he would have like a 9-5

-had crushes on eachother as children (people never talk about the fact that they wouldve known eachother like their whole lives- this is canon guys) this one is partially inspired by that one fanart of them as kids where they were playing with mike and will and she was dressed like a princess and he was dressed like a dragon

-she paints his nails

-nancy is his muse he LOOOVES to take pics of her

-he cried more than she did on their wedding day

-they have movie nights once a week and they take turns picking the movie (she usually goes for rom coms and he picks the most obscure niche movies thay nobodies ever heard of)

-jonathan always makes her mixtapes of songs he thinks she would like even tho they have different music tastes

-jonathan and robin would absolutely become friends so quickly and the 3 of them +steve all hang out

-nancy is queer of some sort and jonathan is nonbinary (he/they) and also queer of some sort (but as we know i am the biggest butchfemme jancy truther so to me jonathan is a he/him butch and jancy is a femme BUT im talking about more canon compliant stuff here)

Okay I saw another tik tok about prince Will and his knight Mike… and this is all fine and dandy but it also implies the existence of crown prince Jonathan.

So now imagine, Crown Prince Jonathan, a shy and gentle soul that prefers to quiet to loud balls and would rather wield his words than his sword unless it is a last resort. People in the court fear he is too sensitive to be a good ruler.

Nancy a young knight who wishes to be a high ranking officer in the queens army despite the fact that there are very little women in the field. However she is ambitious and will stop at nothing to prove her skill.

Jonathan who is the victim of an attack because duh he’s the crown prince and a knight steps out from the shadows and single-handedly saves the day.

Jonathan is profusely thankful to this knight and then the knight takes off her helmet to reveal a flowing mane of curly brown hair… boom it’s Nancy.

For Jonathan it’s love at first sight.

Queen Joyce after hearing this assigns Nancy to be Jonathan’s personal guard, since the person who orchestrated the attack is still on the loose.

Nancy who hates this because she didn’t become a knight just to follow the prince around, feeling like she’s been benched. When another assassination attempt occurs she decides that she will single-handedly solve the case to prove her skills are more valued elsewhere.

Her only obstacle? It is now her duty to follow said prince around, when Jonathan realizes what she’s trying to do he decides to work with her…

To the Milkvans who desperately want Mike and El to be a cute teenage couple who comes from different backgrounds but still loves each other and has shared trauma and has bonded over facing supernatural events together and is still going strong, might I suggest… Jancy?? Bc that is literally just canon Jancy. If the show already has one dynamic like this, why would they need to add another?

• Jonathan clicks random pictures of Nancy every day and has a photo album that Nancy doesn't know of yet

• Nancy tries to make food for Jonathan but she sucks at it, but Jonathan pretends to like it anyway

• Jonathan is passionate about literature so Nancy helps him collect books about them

• Nancy only sings in front of Jonathan

• Jonathan only cries in front of Nancy (and Joyce)

• Jonathan makes mixtapes for Nancy

• If Jonathan likes something and knows he can't afford it he doesn't bring it up, but Nancy (often having a mini brainstorming with Will) gifts it to him and flaunts that she knew cause she can read him, Jonathan can tell it's otherwise but pretends to be convinced

Oooh fun! Let's do this!

Jonathan is a dog person, while Nancy prefers cats.

In their teen years, which side of the bed they slept on depended on whose house they were at (IE: Jonathan slept on the right at his house while Nancy slept on the right at her house).

Nancy sings when she cooks, but it isn't often because she hates cooking. Jonathan usually does that. He doesn't sing. He will occasionally dance if he thinks nobody is looking, though. Spoiler alert: Nancy is always looking.

They like to go camping on long weekends. Just Jonathan, Nancy a fire and a tent for 3 days straight. It wasn't always blissful though, as their first few attempts were foiled by noises at the camp site and memories of not so fun times in the woods. They did conquer their fears eventually -- together.

Nancy makes the shopping lists, but Jonathan does the shopping.
