A "Manananggal". Basically imagine a vampire, who apart from just sucking your blood while you're asleep (through a proboscis-like tongue), did so while separating the lower half of their body; moving around in constant flight.
As a kid I always feared them but couldn't help but think about how easy they'd be to fuck with....
